if Kyle doesn't want to ride for Workington he wont be, and if Workington try to stop him riding I think it could be classed as a restriction of trade, especially as Workington don't own him, in the way the no speedway clubs really own riders
In the past Sheffield used to have a WC qualifying meeting, the occasional British Final, a Northern Riders Qualifier and the final, and usually at least one other individual meeting
i guess our preferences for the type of meetings we like to watch must have changed
Crazy rule, Scott helped us many times last season with varying success, to ban him is stupid,
Use his guest bookings to give him an average, he must have ridden enough as a home and away guest to qualify
Neil Machin used to make a profit at Sheffield because he built teams to win at home, he once said that is more profitable to have a team that won at home than a team that was high up the league but not doing so well at home
Would prefer to stay on Thursday and I cant understand why three championship clubs will have to change race nights as opposed to on PL club.
Sundays would be the only viable opportunity for me but it would need to be evening not in the afternoon to ruin the whole of Sunday
there would also be clashes in the early and late season with football potentially being on a Sunday as well
So if we swap to Wednesday I will only be going to the odd match and to rearranged matches that are on a alternative race night
Look at Sheffields team in 1973, I think our lowest average rider was about 6.75 and everyone in that team could beat anybody, no reserves there just to make up the team
So Barker was not fit Monday but is tomorrow, and Lambert was fit enough for five rides on Monday but not fit tomorrow
that virus is getting around a bit
Going to be like an old end of season challenge match with two league select select teams riding against each other
Thinking about it I suppose that's been quite a lot of matches this season
