Sheffield v Ipswich 26/08/2021
The Third Man replied to Charlieboy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Thought Batchelor might be doing that when they went to the tapes, but then they went at different times, but then i thought it was Batchelor who needs to be shown the best lines himself Been saying that for ages, he shouldn't have had the chance to show an improvement last night -

Good team performance, and a mention for Batchelor, he actually looked interested tonight, don't understand why he carried on practising instead of going out with the rest of the team at the end, but that's a small point -

Its easy, score some points -
Rode for Sheffield for about 20 meeting in 75 as well was a regular spectator at Sheffield before Covid RIP Taffy
-
He didn't ride in the last one against Wolves
-
Chris Harris much better at Sheffield, so that makes Ipswich stronger
-
Based on what he's done up to now they should have got rid of him before he lowered his average enough to join Kent If he starts doing well now he really has had all the supporters for complete mugs, paying money to watch him reduce his average so he can earn more money
-
SHEFFIELD boss Simon Stead is urging fans to turn out in force to help their play-off bid when Ipswich visit Owlerton tomorrow (7.30). A much better rallying call would have been to announce a replacement for Batchelor Hope he's at number 2 again tomorrow, then at least his three pointless rides will be over by heat 8

But like a damp squib in the PL

Looked like a complete novice last Thursday, not even close in any of his rides -

That would be a change before the transfer deadline, hopefully, if not we have to keep him -
Looks like we are stuck with Batchelor, any signing from Polish league should have been announced by now oh well, that should make us everyone's fist pick in the playoffs, if we get there

If it could be used for genuine injury replacement, that's OK, would be better than guests But to make wholesale changes and drop the riders that have got you to the playoffs, just because you can is wrong -
i don't know what is wrong with him, but he still needs dropping whatever the reason is Sorry to sound hard but i cant show compassion if i don't know why he looks like he is not trying, and if people are paying £19 the least they deserve is 7 riders at least trying the team cant afford to carry him, what is the point of qualifying for the play offs if you know you have lost before they start
-
But if Batchelor had scored what was expected when we signed him, we would have won both.
-
Overall a good meeting, friend said that Douglas at reserve won it for Wolves, but as good as he was last night, it was Batchelor that lost it for us Was hoping to come on today to hear he had been sacked, but not that lucky if we do qualify for the playoffs we will be everyones first choice, you don't win against a good team with 6 riders. Well done to the two reserves last night and the other four tried as hard as they could. Kyle was unhappy about heat 14 and said he wasn't good enough, disagreed with him and said he had been riding really well this season, contrast that with Batchelors three last places
-
We rode with 6 last night
-
Well the only 3 double figure scores he has had for us have all been against Wolverhampton, so you never know Not holding my breath though
