  1. Just one point about the Jason rumour he did not have a rentruck van and funded his own van at the start of the season.
  2. hope not but according to the tv coverage on the net Scott has gone to hospital
  3. looking at speedway nu it would seem that there has been an incident in the meeting. Online transalation is that ambulances were needed. hopefully more news will be out soon
  4. Holder should hopefully add to the GPs but the other two god help us
  5. Holder had a guranteed place anyway - interesting decisions for IMG now
  6. thanks for the updates, as more info comes available could you please post? hope all riders are ok
  7. no they dont deserve a decent meeting as it should have happened last week in Germany. the whole thing is a farce
  8. after the farce of this weekend not a chance of going and TBH hope it pisses down
  9. Just to follow on from my post yesterday; last night in Dortmund (10 mins) from Vetlins arena Germany played Russia in front of about a 76000 sell out crowd in a world cup qualifier, this was also shown on national TV! any one wonder why no tickets had been purchased and the crowd was going to be so small and to read more of the statement today saying the shale got wet on the barge from Denmark - well every barge that has gone up the river has a cover on it!
  10. Posting this from a very hot Germany, wont go into how my party is feeling as the comments could cause a ban  First and foremost i feel for every fan. How ever for the management of the series heads have to role... The events off today show exactly why speedway is seen as a micky mouse sport. The so called biggest night in the seaon and they cock it up big style. May be the track was awful but they have had enough time to get it rght. The weather this week has been hot so plenty of time to get it dry and even order some more from tracks within Germany...or is that 2 simple. And for BSI to say the stadium is cold they have giant fan heaters at the Vetlins arena so more sh** from the promoters. Where i am staying the locals have been talking about how few ticket have been sold and that the promotion would be loosing money! Interesting now they have the insurance and a full house next week they will make money! How they have managed to get it re-arranged for next week just today is very dodgy as hotels have been sold out for a week. I hope it rains very very had and BSI are stuck as this GP series is ruining the sport i love.
  11. finally back on a PC Great few days had in Germany, and a perfect end to the GP season. Yes the racing was poor but the people around me made it worth the journey, was delighted to see my cheap tickets gave me a seat and a fantastic view Great win for AJ Scott gets in the top 8, Harris will get a wild card = Happy days are here again
  12. i realised that but it was info for everyone else. AJ always gets put down for his commitment so its nice to see what he is doing. Hope it does not hamper his progress riding in the lower league and lets hope they can put a strong team together and get straight back up.
  13. Well I know several people including my party who's tickets have not arrived. The ticket company have been really good and we now shall be picking up the tickets from the stadium. If anyone else is having issues contact the ticket company they will help.
  14. at least there is some good news for you. Taken from ajracing.se After this year's poor season of Polonia, fans from Bydgoszcz and other cities were wondering if Andreas would stay in Bydgoszcz in case the league's not enlarged and Polonia have to ride in Division 1. Many people didn't believe in "I love Bydgoszcz" written on AJ's kevlar any more. To them, but especially to those who have always been with AJ and their team through thick and thin, Andreas would like to say: There were many promoters contacting me to negotiate contracts with their clubs for next season. Each time my answer was the same: no, there's nothing to talk about as I'm going to stay in Bydgoszcz! I have no will to change my Polish club. My aim is to ride for Polonia as long as they want me here. I'm a skipper of the team who lost Ekstraliga this year. I do feel responsible for this and can't leave Polonia now. This was the only decision I could make as being the captain responsibility for results was double for me. Last winter we were left by Piotr Protasiewicz and Robert Kosciecha. This year's line-up wasn't strong then and I knew it was going to be hard... What's more, injuries and other problems didn't leave me in peace later on and finally we needed a miracle to stay up in Ekstraliga. This miracle didn't happen, unfortunately. It means Andreas will be riding for Polonia no matter what division the team will eventually land in... «
  15. Get in there Dackarna and the Bees league champions - Fantastic result for all and well done AJ - so pleased to see you get some reward after some shocking injuries this year. Just hope you can keep this form up for the GP in Germany.
  16. can anyone provide an update on the weather today?
  17. In general a pretty boring meeting tonight - track way too slick and they need some banking on it to allow better racing lines. Nicki P was awesome, so glad the bet went on this afternoon Bomber did a job and a solid start. Gutted for Scott and hope his injury is not too bad. Fingers crossed for the rest of the GP series we can have some better prepared tracks.
  18. some really strong teams named so far and could only dream of having some of them teams in the UK. IMO the league will be between VMS, Dackarna , Bajen and Vastervik. hopefully will be able to get over to Sweden a few times again this season to see Dackarna
  19. congratulations bomber and this from someone who though cov should have dropped him! (yes i was wrong) go and show them what you can do
  20. for info - had a txt from Prague and they have been having thundery showers. hope its on and come on AJ
  21. Well done to Jagus, Holta and Hans, certainly should make for astrong GP series in 07. Feel sorry for PK - may be a wild card for him? and well done Bomber sirely if a GP pick is going to the UK than Bomber has to be above Lee and Stead and Mark?? Also fair play to the club for getting this meeting on and the service iven on the internet. Please please BSPA take note covering the track works!
  22. just sums it up perfect for me, cover the tracks in Sweden so it goes ahead yet in the UK this is impossible to do. oh dear come on the BSPA sort it out. Onto tonight, Hans, Jagus and Holta to get thorugh. Fingers crossed for Harris and Martin but think its a step to far.
  23. IMO i can see 1 Brit only in the GP's if the GP series was to finish now you got a top 8 of - Crump, Hancock, N Pedersen, Jonnson, Adams. Nicholls, Gollob, Bjarne Pedersen 4 places to be handed out - Linback, hampel and Zagar plus one more 3 places from vetlanda - IMO Hans, Holta and say PK to get through So one place left and lots of good riders out there, sorry no room for Loram, Bomber or Stead IMO even so with those riders, GP series 2007 looks to be very good.
