The best 16 riders in the world should be picked richardson nicholls and andersen are end of story . If the top 16 rode every year eight would always come outside that does not mean that they should be kick out . To keep saying you did not do that in the gp etc etc is dumb it's the top 16 riders who should be in whatever

The top 16 should be in the gp Are scott and lee in the top 16 in the world ? the answer is a simple yes ! Just because you don't finish in the top eight does not mean you should not be in the top sixteen So your plan is to bring riders outside the top 16 ? in my book that as you say devalues the competition
