And some over 30 are well past their best by date lol

Yet they all complain about lack of racing time? It still amazes me how many guys who want to be professional riders turn down opperchancities to join teams because of travelling. We get it at Glasgow every years as do all the other Northern tracks I dare say.
-
Has there been any (real) reason why your Management has not used guests? Money, unavailability or unwillingness by riders?
-
Isn't it interesting how all of a sudden The Witcheselect to use two guests (Scott Nicol & Ben Barker) for important matches now the play-offs beckon? Wonder what their fans think considering the number of times they've been short changed with r/r?

What is now the 3rd & 4th bend at Armadale has always been somewhat of a viewing problem unless you are standing on the home straight and as a visiting or neutral supporter I sadly have to say there is a feeling of not being welcome among some of the Monarchs' supporters who feel that is their terrority.
-
Another huge with win for the Monarchs with, as I said previously, only one area of concern and with all likelyhood of going into the play-offs that must be a slight worry. Richie Worrall still unbeaten by an opponent at Armadale eyt poor guy with one of the best averages in the league misses out on the CLRC but someone who has only done THREE meetings gets a place. No wonder the meeting isn't taken seriously!!! (And to save you looking I'm not even a Monarchs' supporter lol)

Lakeside Future In Serious Doubt

Is there not a rule if a Promotion pr Promoter folds they are barred from promoting for so many years thus meaning a new Promotion would have to step in? -

Great to see Lakeside continuing and the fans at the track getting speedway back even if it's not their beloved Rockets. -

Bet Glasgow won't get the chance again after the way they mistreated him. -

Don't know if it's true or not but there was a story circulating that Scotty had said all the engines he had were set up for small tracks and as a result the Panthers' promotion bought him new engines set up for the Showground. -

Well if Moanarchs' fans can buy him a set of kevlars so he can ride for them I'm sure the Pirates' fans can get him a new engine -

I'd go with the present 7 but I think the reserves programmed rides should only be against each other with a start from each gate position. If there is to be any doubling up then it should only be with NL riders and get them some more track time against riders of a similar standard so as to not undermine their confidence. -

Get him on his Edinburgh bike - Unbeaten by an opponent in 4 meetings there and only a silly exclusion for falling in ht 15 against Glasgow cost him yet another maximum. Ba115 up of the season award goes to Glasgow for keeping Bombed and getting rid of Richie. -

Can we swap Brady for Bombed (not a spelling mistake) at Glasgow please? -

Think it's safe to say he was only going to be a temp No1 till Noddy got his act together. Sadly for both Pirates and himself that never happened and both have suffered. As a neutral I've got to say both Noddy and Kurtz looked the business in the GB v OZ Test Match -

Please remember that the Cookie Monster was as good as a reject (just) over the Border until Edinburgh took pity on him. Now he has come to Glasgow he will improve even more!!! (Not necessarily at speedway though) -

Cold, windy wet and not easy to understand what the locals are saying? Yes that just about sums up folk SOUTH of the Border (But luckily not speedway fans) -

Can't see how you can argue that too much racing and travelling are poor excuses? Have you noticed the number of crashes and injuries that occur as the season comes to an end? Fatigue both to riders and machinery should be more of a concern and carefully monitored. In Brady's favour I will say that he at least appeared in Glasgow for the GB v Oz Test match whereas Mr Lambert has made a habit of missing trips North of the Border over the years.
