Don't know how long Cookie has signed for but given it's another of Chapman's teams one of them must have backed down on the sponsorship on kevlars and bike cover issue. Or given past events (ie Harris's 'move' to Ippo) it's been a big game alll along with Chapman waiting to see which of his teams needed strengthening? Got to have sympathy for Panthers' fans they way they have been messed about.

I thought it was Richard Lawson who was meant to be riding not William Lawson? can't help but feel there are going to be a lot of disappointed fans.

Nope he's not in the line-ups even though Bewley & Garrity aren't riding. McDonald has withdrawn from the mascots race to participate in the meeting for Workington though.

I thought that perhaps with his connections with the Glasgow promotion this would have been one of the few opperchancities fo him to have a ride at Ashfield so he may well have made the effort. He still has Glasgow Tigers and Allied Vehicles as sponsors on his website.

Since there is only one other meeting on in the UK do we assume if it is a problem with rider availability there are all sunning themselves for Easter. I find it a bit strange that few of his Team GB teammates haven't been named especially as only Bomber is the only one currently injured? Who knows maybe the final names will include Woofy, Lambert and even Greg?

....and sadly for Craig possibly reduces the attendance of what should be a big day for him?

Thomas rode for Workington. MPT has never ridden for any of the four clubs apart, as previously suggested, as a guest.

Paul Stake, Michael Palm Toft and Tom Jorgensen were also announced tonight. Think that leaves 5 places to guess about.

Surely he knows who is going to be riding or is the race card going to be full of blanks for us to fill in? Maybe he has testimonial pens for sale as we're going to need more ink than usual?

Does entry cost not include the meeting programme and an Easter Egg?

I've posted on the various Glasgow social media pages asking and apart from the 6 riders already mentioned nobody either knows or is willing to divulge who the other 9 riders are likely to be. What had the potential to be a great meeting with a big crowd could turn into a farce unfortunately for Cookie due to poor advertising etc. The only thing that has any decent exposure is the fact that there will be the 4 mascots from the teams participating.
