  1. No problem - Just waiting for Buster to now change the CL FOURS to KL lol
  2. I note the NL Fours' date and venue have been changed due to 'unavailability of riders' due to a grasstrack meeting which seemingly takes priority over speedway. Why should speedway bow down to grasstrack? Speedway is becoming more farcical with every shared event that happens.
  3. With crayons as they are obviously not allowed sharp objects such as pencils
  4. Maybe it depends on when the riders show up If they show up since there seems to be no mention anywhere of who is riding in each team. Pretty poor considering it is a'major' shared event. (Know from Edinburgh's page their team is Wells, Heeps, Anderson & Pickering)
  5. Can't see BV releasing Bjerre. Maybe NKI now he is no longer Danish Champion so must be a bit cheaper lol
  6. Wonder what stunt Buster will pull now to replace Hans?
  7. Adrian it is the same with majority of the teams and I put it down to the stupid team building averages and the inclusion of two point reserves who in all honesty are not up to the standard. Over the years the standard of the sport has been diluted supposedly to save money but inversely I bet admission charges have gone up.
  8. So Cookie turns out for KL in full team kevlars and bike covers. Really feel for you Panther's fans as well and truly shafted twice now this season.
  9. Is there a reason why Hans Anderson isn't riding in this meeting? Hope the two Glasgow Tigers' riders do well.
  10. I think Glasgow is one of the few clubs he hasn't ridden for (other than as a guest).
  11. Yeah good shout - you could replace the two Lamberts withe the two Riss brothers
  12. Sssh Dorothy! We don't wan't any more of our riders doubling up!
  13. Maybe sacked isn't the term used but he certainly released Harris and declined to finalise Cook's deal after trying to enforce a clause that Cookie was not willing to accept. Yes maybe Craig had negotiated things with the previous promoter and arguments can be put that he should never have been publicly named in the Panthers' starting line-up until the contract had been signed and accepted by the BSPA.
  14. Having signed Rasmus Jensen i did wonder why no official announcement had been made by Swindon
  15. It was the same meeting Paul. The ref chucked Tom out for arguing before a wheel had even been turned. According to Neil the tape hadn't actually been altered in any way. Neil some how managed to put a length mid section of the tape up his sleeve unseen by the referee and Newcastle management. It's promoters like Neil and Ian Thomas the sport is in dire need of these days.
  16. It would cost a fortune in tapes with Sarjeant
  17. Ian Thomas probably got it from Neil then. I'm pretty sure is Ian had pulled a trick like that he would have been fly to it. I saw Ian, as a keen magician, pull many things from his sleeve but never hide a measuring tape up it as Neil did.
  18. I heard Rye House was on the radar but there are always rumours
  19. Falcon 1983 I've suggested for years that if there is to be a team building average it should be the final total of the league champions and that way a winning team can be kept together and the other tams have to play catch-up rather than the league being diluted down as it is these days. OK Promoters argue it's all about costs but having a weakened product is more likely to make fans stay away and heaven knows there are enough other ways to spend hard earned cash on rather than 15 minutes of racing.
  20. Last word on the Diamonds since this is a Glasgow page but this has a Glasgow 'connection' lol The only time i saw the Diamonds loose their sparkle was at Paisley when former Tigers' Promoter Neil Mcfarlane pulled a cracker with a measuring tape when Ian Thomas questioned the width of the track.
  21. Did a certain Mr Lambert also not make his 'big' debut for the Diamonds? Tom & Joe were two of my favourite riders. You knew when that Diamonds team visited the chances were they were going home with the points.
  22. Your team hasn't done too badly over the years either Tsunami. Lets see - Ivan Mauger. Ole Olsen, Ander Michanek, Nikki Pedersen? I mean that's only four World Champions lol
  23. Every year we hear about promotions and riders 'massaging' their average to lower than what they are capable of either to help the team bring in a stronger rider or to make themselves more attractive the following season (riders obviously not promoters even though there now seems to be a few changing teams off-season). Maybe rather than mess around with team building averages rules should be changed where by a rider has his average for the whole season and perhaps that thing we used to have called loyalty comes back into play?
