  1. Or Billy Rae at Coatbridge in 1975 1975..Coatbridge..5..11..4..1..1.82 or some German bloke called Egon Muller in 1973 who amassed 1 point from 7 rides in 2 meetings for an 0.57 ave in 1973? I suppose we could blame John Wilson's spare bike for that as we all know what Egon went onto on his own machinery
  2. Why O'Malley was even given 27 matches is beyond me.
  3. Don't go giving Cammi-knickers any ideas now
  4. Heck yes. I forgot about him. He was so bad my memory banks must have wiped all traces of him. Don't think he even averaged 0.5 points in half dozen meetings.
  5. Certainly couldn't be anyworse than Jayden O'Malley in 2012. Possible the worse rider I've seen in The Stripes in 54 years of watching.
  6. Les Collins was from Lancashire and surely isn't considering a comeback?
  7. Huh not content with home track advantage you want the sun too?
  8. Well after his last spell with us he can only get better.
  9. I'm sure Rudolph and his mates are more than 4 pointers. Their antlers always look pretty big to me.
  10. Well if 3 is all you have to play with after building the rest of the team fair enough but I'd hate to think the team was built around fitting a 3 pointer into the side.
  11. A multiple GP winner, an U21 World Champion, a British U21 Champion and several National title winners and you don't think that's a capable team? Do tell what or who you are looking for?
  12. The fact so many Promotions haven't stuck with him says far more than any fans' comments.
  13. That is one strong team very capable of defending the title
  14. Or your riders lighter? Don't laugh!!! I know of one rider who had worn his tyre by 4 rides he always has to use someone else's tyre when he was in ht 15, which being a No 1 was almost every meeting
  15. It's not an irrelevance if you don't make the play-offs because of silly dropped points and bad decisions have cost us valuable points away from home in the past and worse still surrendered heat points at home.
  16. I wholeheartedly agree. I think confidence has a lot to do with it. At NDL level he knows he has the beating of anyone but at after ht 2 at CL level his mind has him beat before the tapes are up. Considering his time at BV with the Colts all the signs were surely there when The Aces didn't stick with him.
  17. Yeah I'd rather watch a 46-44 match than a 60-30 match but with the aggregate score being introduced my view on that may change. Of course the ongoing problem with aggregate scores when riders are missing for whatever reason, meetings cut short due to weather etc is always going to keep The Forum kicking on
  18. Yeah getting Rassie back would be great. But there you have the problem of loyalty. Just how many one season wonders have The Tigers had? (and every other team too I dare say). And then there are some you're glad only did one?
  19. Yeah there is little loyalty left in the sport bar fans turning up every week.
  20. I think part of the problem was the public perception of him coming across as a cocky wee git especially when the photograph of him making hand gestures when he was captain of the BV Colts surfaced. I've heard stories from other riders, mechanics etc who find an arrogance about him but I'm sure the Edinburgh Promotion are more than capable of handling that. He undoubted lost direction when he lost his grandfather but that was few years ago now and perhaps he should have found another mentor to get him back on track (no pun intended)
  21. Just read that Rasmus Jensen is not riding in the Ekstraliga. Could he now be available as our No1? I'm sure he would be welcomed back by the fans.
  22. So Kyle Bickley completes his set of signing for all the Northern teams. Quite a change going from the bigger tracks of Workington, Glasgow and Berwick to the tighter Armadale. Hopefully the change will bring out the potential said to be there.
  23. But of course when Max Fricke got injured Belle Vue splashing the cash on someone who wasn't even initially interested in riding in the UK probably bought them the title
  24. Money doesn't prevent injuries and it's injuries that have beat Glasgow the past two seasons
