Schrammy is always great value. He was awesome throughout his season as a Bandit. Still a legend in Berwick -

Superb result. It's been a very eventful season so far. -
So, using the same logic, how come you consider yourself Welsh then?

Peter is Scottish.

The Wee Man seen in Glasgow today: reportedly. Mark my works those ye with little faith in the BigEddieChek.

I think it is a very generous offer. It clearly worked on Wednesday evening, and - above all - it shows who the Promotion value most: tha fans. I'll get shouted down for being a brown noser here, but I'm just saying what I think. These guys have listened time and time again to what the fans what, and consistently deliver. It's a great goodwill gesture, very brave, and very progressive. It means I'll have an extra £4.50 to spend on pies and burgers, which is very important to me

No, I am just saying that you usually spout tripe. If it is a word-for-word quote that you posted, then I stand corrected and apologise. Although, I haven't seen any press releases that have mentioned that, I could - of course- have missed them. -

Blue snow tonight, I actually agree with one of your posts. Nope, it has run out of argon. -

Pretty nailed-on with your figures there Taffy. Well, just about nailed-on, maybe more than nailed on, or approximately nailed-on, or maybe even just your usual tripe? -
Heard yet more rumours tonight. He's had a big cash-in with an investment, and thinks he can get Glasgow at knock-down price. Not quite straight from the horses mouth, buy certainly the nosebag. Looking forward to seeing the Wee Man back next year, if not sooner!

Why are some folk so upset that I would pay up to £20 to go to the speedway? Ahhhh, the wonders of social experimentation via the Internet. Anyway, what a cracking meeting, great turnout, splendid value for money, and a very convincing win with lots of passing. Best of all, no injuries! It was also announced that admission for the meeting against The Capital Monarchs on the 1st September will be £10. Tonight certainly proved that lower pricing was attractive to plenty of folk, and I think it is a great gesture of goodwill to people who are finding things tight, but obviously want a night out at the speedway. Once again, the Promotion are working very hard to give the fans what they want. One has to take one's hat off to them. -

I said nothing about purchasing the club, I'm not made of money either: but, I would pay up £20 (including programme) on Saturdays. P.S. Not seen any pheasants, do you mean the seagulls? -

I think I might do the same. Had a fine cheeseburger on Saturday. Saw Neil stuffing his face with one too. -

Aye, there are plenty who I have asked who give the same reply, and don't come along. The ones that do come think it's mental, and really enjoy it. -

Not sure, but I don't think Glasgow Rangers exist anymore... -

Honestly. I can't believe no-one agrees with my idea, it's probably the best suggestion on here. The true fans pay more, the greetin' mumpin-moaners get in for nowt. The only condition would be that they would not be allowed to moan. Actually, you are all right. That would never work. Arson Fire, you're right. It is all everyone needs to do. I'm enthusiastic about the sport, and that get my mates interested. So they decide to come along and see what all the fuss is about. I've got two family repeat visitors, my old man has started coming back for every meeting when he is not working, and hopefully another family coming along tomorrow night. They all really enjoyed the night and though it was decent value for money. They mostly thought it was a bit mental too. -

Well, here's an idea. I'd happily pay more for my Saturday night of speedway. I love it. Why not have flexible pricing? So, people like myself can pay more, and the folk who are always greeting about things can pay less, but still come. It's a winner. -

Good post Screm, and the highlighted point is a particulary good one. Nobody will agree with everything a promotion does, I just seems some on here can't be happy with anything (not yourself, incidentally). I agree, the deserve a good turnout on Wednesday.
