Looks a decent signing, good to see the management moving quickly again when faced with adversity.

A bit narcissistic of you to assume my post was referring to you?
-
Nothing wrong with my memory!

I don't see the problem. It makes the lad feel good, so why not? It is a forum after all.

Bu^^er! I always seem to miss the good ones! -
Where you get that from?
-
Just putting something into the "debate" for you. What actually are the riders saying?
-
I don't know about away meetings, I've not made any this year yet. Equally you could ask why the other teams are managing to gate away from home too. To pop something into the mix here: could it be that there is more pressure to win at home meetings, thus creating anxiety at the gate?
-
I still clearly recall a highly respected person's response to your track prep ramblings, Taffy
-
Honestly, though, taking a moment to stop and think through the "it's the Berwick track that's causing poor gating" argument: then surely it would make the away team poor gaters too? I sometimes read this forum in incredulity.

Jeez! What a load on mince gets posted on here at times!

I agree Taffy, that and a few meetings without injury to get back into the flow. Great to see him bang in the points, especially after seeing him battle so hard to get back to form. -

Great result for The Bandits! TJ just needed a run without injury and is getting his form back again. Good to see Liam back and into the points straight away too. Chuffed -

Romano Hummel had a very impressive debut. Good points haul, and he was mighty fast when he romped home in heat 2. Very much looking forward to watching this young lad progress -

I was quite relieved - and pleased - to be honest. With r/r for our number 5, a battered and bruised Theo clearly in pain, a first home meeting for Romano, and young Bewley (who looks one for the future) instead of Liam, I thought it would be difficult. Turned out to be a very entertaining meeting, some great races in there, a couple of which Ayers put in a great contribution with some balls racing. I'm not going to kid myself that the team tracked on Saturday is suddenly going to rocket up the league, but I thought given the circumstances it was a very gutsy win. -

Yes, what with us being the speedway equivalent of Real Madrid and all that... -

All I am hoping from this is that Seb and Josh make speedy recoveries. Looks like Bandits made a good fight of it. -
I agree, very astute.

Scott explains the reason behind it in the press release. “While this is very exciting news for our club I feel it's very important to thank Henning Bager for his efforts over the last few weeks. I must emphasise how Henning stepped in to help us out of a tricky situation at very short notice, if he hadn’t taken our offer of a 28-day contract, we would have been in a bad position, using the rider-replacement regulation for the fifth spot in our averages, which always piles a lot of pressure on our reserve riders." http://berwickbandits.co/article/double-dutch-bandits

I agree Taffy, must have been a very tough decision to make, but great to see new young rider coming in hopefully a new asset. For me, I always enjoy seeing young riders coming into the team and watching them progress. Coty being one example. Welcome to Berwick Romano! I wonder what song the 3rd bend guys will come up with for him!

Another positive move from the Bandits! http://berwickbandits.co/article/double-dutch-bandits

You never did believe me with that one =D

Don't forget the laser counters too Taffy

I think it is a great idea. For me it shows one thing, respect. So, they are in the process of building a training track, while at the same time giving all ex-riders a lifetime pass. Seems like they have an overall vision here, and I like it. Building nice solid foundations for the future, rather than sticking plasters of the cracks.
