Are you sure averages don't mean a lot to you?
I agree with the other posts on here that we have gone for the strength in depth approach.
If Steen moves up, then look at who replaces him. Wethers, Bellego, Kus, Doolan?
Erm, I wouldn't do any tinkering with that at all.
Fine as it it is thank you!
I think the team is perfectly fine the way it is.
As several have mentioned, Doolan will move from the No 1 spot and be a very solid 2nd string.
The guys all look to be fired-up and together as a team. Steen is on fire, Kus was showing a bit more consistency on Saturday, Liam put in double his average.
I wouldn't tinker with things at the moment when the only poor results have been against an Edinburgh side who look imperious at the moment.
Absolutely correct decision, sure Liam would have had the ride in a PL match, but every point counts in this one. Looked to have the team fired-up too last night.
Definitely the correct decision, and like you say Jim, no reflection on Liam, he rode very well for his paid 6 and the support he is getting behind the scenes looks to be paying off.
He really enjoyed his rides and clearly got a buzz out of it. He's just going to get better and better.
Well, forget about anything else, some of Steen Jensen's moves tonight were brilliant!
I shouldn't forget the masterclass from Stead too, he can fairly rider Shielfield!
Now, don't you be ridiculing any of the posters on here...but you are right.
Newcastle were never in the meeting after the first few heats.
Still, it goes to show that the racing is what matters, all denominations on this thread to acclaim the quality of the track and riders (on the whole), quite rightly so.
