  1. Surely it depends on what is dropping off at the other end of the scores, i.e. what the sum of the set is?
  2. If Kus goes to reserve, we're just as strong, if not stronger. Hell of a reserve to have, and Steen will have no problem in the main team. As discussed, it's our favoured shape of team Taffy, it's always going to be strong, no matter who moves up and down.
  3. I must say, it is most satisfying sitting 9 points ahead of Newcastle having ridding half the number of meetings. I'm going to take this opportunity to gloat while I can
  4. Kus doing the business for us, especially at home. Like you say Sarah, when a rider is happy, it shows
  5. Solid as a rock is Matty, utterly dependable rider.
  6. That's what I meant, I just didn't put it as clearly Yeah, it's a joke that they get any double rides.
  7. Absolutely brilliant result! Steen Machine really living up to expectations, a masterstroke of a signing. The whole team though are putting in solid, consistent scores, that will make us very hard to beat. I really don't agree with the home team getting two double point rides either. When you take those scores out, it really shows the quality of this win. Sounds like a great meeting too, I must get down to Plymouth at some point.
  8. Be interesting to see how he goes next week.
  9. Maybe I'm reading more into it than what is there.
  10. It's been hinted at in the latest Berwick E-Newsletter that Redcar are going to take a look at Suchanek at next week's GP Qualifier. Anyone heard anything to back this up, or am I reading more into it than I should?
  11. Thomas Suchanek also gets mentioned in the newsletter I noticed...
  12. How was the track? There have been a few grumbles about it this year.
  13. Just you hold that thought in your head, you might be pleasantly surprised!
  14. Looks like I might have got off lightly with my ballet show tonight!
  15. It's not as frightening a team, no Scud, Wilko, or Schrammy. Steen and Matty during a good job of emulating them though!
  16. I could see that happening, and then when he moves up, who moves down but another very strong rider. I have liked the way the team has been constructed from the beginning, and a very strong start to the season. Apart from a bit of devilment, we all seem to be in agreement about the important things on here. How unusual!
  17. Any of the riders swapping to reserve keeps us very strong. Kus at reserve would be some rider to have at that position! Steen would not be out of place at all in the main body. A very well constructed team, no prima donnas, just solid throughout, and space for a young local rider to develop.
  18. Going by the match report on the website, the management are very keen not to take the eye off the ball tonight. Should be a cracking meeting! http://berwickbandits.co/article/bandits-pull-sensational-win-workington-taking-all-four-points
  19. Wow! Great to come back from a night out to see this result. Everyone chipping in, and proving that a team with strength in depth rather than the big hitter at the top approach can be very effective. Tonight will be tough though as the Comets go well around Shielfield. It's a cracking start to the season and the Steen Machine is proving to be a great signing!
