I have to say, I agree with you on this. Barrett has some potential to increase his average. I remember one person in particular raving about his style in real life when he first rode for us.

I'd happily take a rider who can do well on away tracks, and a rider of his ability will get the hang of Shielfield in no time. I think after last season we can safely say that the Berwick Promotion know how to put a decent team together. It's good to see new assets and - who knows - we might get one/some this season. They are a risk, though, I'd be interested to see the stats on assessed riders averages on their first season, I'd bet very few maintain their average. Still excited, even with the not insignificant, significant universal dismissal of my £20 entrance fee vision.

Definitely the right time for David to move on maybe for a season. He was in danger of stagnating at Berwick. Hopefully have him back in subsequent seasons.
