  1. Not much between Riss and Perry. As Balderdash has mentioned, we've not had the home results, but there has been massive changes in the whole setup, and the racing has been consistently excellent. Our team has struggled to find it's form so far, this might be the right time to catch us, if you're looking for an away win!
  2. We've certainly had entertainment, Norman, looking forward to this. Hopefully another good turnout. 49 - 41 would do nicely!
  3. You know that's not the first time we've agreed Taffy
  4. Glad someone is of the same mindset as I =D Completely agree Taffy.
  5. Topsoil, as always, the voice of reason. Great post
  6. I said that the performances were not good enough, that not good enough for you? I'm not going to sit behind a keyboard and single out any riders. Losing that meeting tonight was a sore one, after building up a deserved 8 point margin. I did thoroughly enjoy it until heat 15. Taking a neutral perspective, it was another well run, well presented, entertaining meeting. Kev really set an example as Captain tonight, hungry and some excellent riders. So, we know there are problem areas, I'm sure they will be addressed. You know me Sarah
  7. Interesting that you use the word generic with regard to me being specific. Just saying...

  9. Very good blog from George. http://www.berwickbandits.co/blog/its-not-just-glory-game
  10. I'm not saying we don't want changes; the changes need to be either performance or riders. It's not necessarily riders that need to change, although I guess we'll find that out over this weekend.

  12. Yeah, I'm sure the management will deal with things. Glory hunters, fair weather fans, or die hards. Know which is most important
  13. What about the ones who come through the gate week after week, to support their team, but aren't glory hunters? Sure, it hasn't been a great start with results, but the atmosphere and the racing has been great. Of course I want to see better results, but not necessarily changes, that's too simplistic a view.
  14. Fair enough. Who that is guaranteed to be any better? I think the team will up their performance this weekend.
  15. It would make no sense at all to being Aarnio in. No disrespect to him.
  16. Result aside, thought it was a cracking meeting. Bridger producing two of the best moves I've seen round the 4th bend. Pickering is going to go a long way in the sport. A few people questioned Luke in for Ryan. Thought the young lad did great, and looks a Hell of a tough! Another cracking crowd. Long may it continue.
  17. I think Berwick are setting a great example (OK, I am slightly biased!). Great new brand identity which is slapped all over the place, lots of hard work getting the word out, new facilities (back straight tea bar, new merchandise area), changes to the track producing more racing lines, excellent use of Social Media, new website with loads of great blog content, interviews in the pits during breaks, use of covers to take some of the uncertainty of the weather out of the equation, encouraging riders to interact and entertain fans, and a generally progressive mindset. It certainly seems to be working looking at the crowds for first 3 meetings.
