  1. Well done, you gave Screm his aim of having a pop! He had to wait a long time though!
  2. Diamonds are going to have to do something to turn their season around
  3. I agree, the management have made swift and decisive changes which has ensured our league campaign has got off to a good start. Two vital home wins, and, I'm sure, a few away wins too. No reason why we can't match our finish last season, or even better. I just wish some of the people who continually knock Berwick Speedway on here would stop running away and hiding when we have good, entertaining meeting. They need to grow a pair of knackers!
  4. Not sure, just a bit more hunger, but that was there in the first run of heat 6. I did say question mark, not writing him off! I didn't realise he was having financial pressures
  5. I think that was the first meeting we've finished a meeting full strength? Shows we have a pretty solid team, Hall looking an excellent signing. Great to see Alex back and clearly fit. Jorgensen and Doolan a very solid 3/4 combination, Vissing in sensational form this season and Barker starting get going. Hynek still a question mark against, for me at least, although he looked a wee bit better. Crowd looked low for a Newcastle meeting. Hopefully word gets around about a good meeting and we get people through the turnstiles. I'd be gutted to have no speedway on a Sat night Hopefully it gets a bit warmer, I had to move from 3rd bend due turning a bit soft. Could still hear the huge cheers for the riders coming from the 3rd bend crew who were in fine form!
  6. Aye, the wind definitely payed a part with regard to the times, slowed down the second hand on the stopwatch. So that's why their number 4 was so poor, they've signed a snooker player!
  7. Your criticism and praise are always fair, though. Some will just not be able to post on here how good a meeting tonight was: and it was pretty good!
  8. Oofftt! What a half time team talk that must have been! Great turn around and some fantastic racing which resulted in a comprehensive trouncing. Vissing gave a masterclass tonight. The way he team rode Alex home in heat 11 was a delight to watch. Thoroughly enjoyable meeting
  9. Coming from the man who slated George English during Pepe's first season with Newcastle. How you've changed your tune!
  10. Hey, don't shoot the messenger, I know nothing about team management! Interesting to compare recent silverware, nonetheless.
  11. Who on Earth is John Carver? Now, I am not the one appraising George English, I'm just going on what I hear around and about. Don't shoot the messenger Just one question, when was the last major trophy either club one? ...
  12. What lark? Linking to the authoritative body for weather forecasting in the UK. I seem to remember them being pretty accurate the last time too.
  13. Don't know, I think it is more of a case that (some of) the fans don't seem to want it. Doubt NL would make any difference. Why do your best to run something and constantly get knocked?
  14. Weather looking absolutely perfect for this tonight http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/forecast/gcyt62suunf3#?fcTime=1429920000
  15. I missed last week due to rock star commitments, so I have severe speedway withdrawal symptoms. A Newcastle side that could upset us, unless they suffer from their now legendary poor team management; or, if we click it could be a large home victory. Importantly, the David "Michael Fish" Monks predicts good weather, so at least I'll get my fix
  16. I'll probably get into trouble for this, but I think it's already gone. Enjoy it while you can
  17. I'm the same as you Sarah, we have some guys who can go well round the OTA, so hopefully we can maybe come back with something
  18. Good score from Claus, he's in great form this season. Thanks for sharing, Robin!
  19. Yes, pubs and restaurants SHOULD NOT sell alcohol if they want to be family orientated. For once you are spot on, Taffy.
  20. I agree, very unlucky start to the season. Full strength on Saturday should get things going! I have never said people voting with their feet are attention seekers: so, stop trying to seek attention! I did, however, point out that some people I know who do not come any more were absolutely turned off by having the same moan in their ear every Saturday. You can't surely think that is a good thing?
  21. I think we've had a lot of bad luck at the start of this season, but full strength, let's see what we can do. Barker and Vissing are going to be pretty hard to beat I reckon.
