  1. So, we have had a return to winning ways (convincingly) at home, also two entertaining home meetings in a row. Now a strong away showing to progress to the next round of the KOC. Aside from a bit of bud luck at the start of the season, things are standing at a pretty decent point. Let's hope that the fans can get behind the team and club and push forward. We should never forget how good speedway is when it is at its best!
  2. Best post I've seen on here for a long, long time.
  3. Get in there! Just had a trackside report and sounds like an incredible meeting. Should keep things nice and quiet on the Berwick threads for a wee bit at least
  4. The answer I received was from Dennis, I guess whoever is available responds?
  5. Wish I could have made it down to this. I really enjoyed my trip to Foxhall last year. I can't see us making it through with only a 4pt lead, but happy to be surprised!
  6. I guess you might need to provide geographical details of some kind? A lot of website communication requires that to filter out false queries that do nothing other than waste time. The best one I've seen on my t'Internet career is a Miss Magdalene Fields! Shores Dean probably the worst. Ramsay Tupper was also a witty one
  7. Good to see two strong rivals working together in the mutual interest of fans and clubs. Great initiative and hope that it helps numbers for both clubs. They last bastions of Scottish speedway!
  8. Hey, no need for a bite, your true colours have been well and truly shown: and noted!
  9. It's not bait Jim, just an observation that quite a few others share: I believe "lurkers" is the term for them?
  10. It's been a real eye-opener on here since Saturday. We get perfect track, great meeting with plenty of racing, and a good win. Then all of a sudden some regular posters disappear!! Pretty simple conclusion to draw: they are just out to cause bother. Certainly not speedway fans. Back to your post, I think that is a good change: important we track our full team against Sheffield, plus it is Champions League final. A weakened team alongside that would not have been a good mix. Good to see it communicated promptly too. No home meetings for 3 weeks will mean a bit of cold turkey for me, though.
  11. It doesn't segment how many of them are Berwick fans. It's a very small response which actually follows the trend for the Internet. Most people use the Internet for shopping, music and VOD. Us on here are a very strange anomaly, you just need to look round the ground on a Saturday night!
  12. I am the classic example of "She's, no' wi' him...is she?" =D
  13. It's far better way than just posting on here, I've often found that things have been well thought through, some implemented, but others not. Some suggestions that I have made in the past have given very valid reasons for not being taken up. It is really saying "Get in touch and tell us what we can do better!". So why not do that?
  14. Nope, if people want the answer, then they should make the effort to ask. Apparently I talk a load of BS on here, so would surely be called as inaccurate. If people want an answer, just ask them!
  15. Sent an email in and received a very detailed reply.
  16. I have to admit that when we get a meeting like Saturday past, I couldn't give a hoot what the parade is like!
  17. It will be IP address based, ya dafty! Here, what did you make of the meeting on Saturday? You've been unusually quiet on the meeting thread...
  18. Only 51 votes? I'm surprised, was expecting there to be 100s.
