Got my copy at Peterborough on Thursday. Great read on a great person. Terry was my favourite rider in my King's Lynn days of the 60's and 70's. He still looks in great shape for his age. The whole magazine brought back many memories. Well done to all.

Really enjoyed the music and as others have said, Land of hope and glory was excellent. Particularly liked tie me kangaroo down when Crumpy nearly came off. Well done.

I've put my money on Hans. He looked fast and mean on Thursday and the track should suit him.

Scott was certainly lucky to get away with that but the only one I blame is the ref. Every time he officiates, he makes some weird decisions and yet still gets chosen to do the GP's.

I have always enjoyed watching Kenneth race from the time he was a reserve for us. He is a very shy guy, unlike most Danes, but when I have spoken to him in the pits he has always been polite. As for his riding I don't recall any bad moments at Peterborough. I think he seems quite settled with Hans and Neils beside him.

I don't mind losing my money if a rider has given his all but Gollob was not interested last night and I think this will be his last year in the Gp's.

I put £5 ew on Gollob this morning at 33's

I believe it will be close and all the teams will be in the lead at some stage but at the end I think it will be Denmark Poland Australia Great Britain

Well done Bomber on a brilliant performance even though it cost me a lot of money as I had taken Greg at 14/1. Good to see that the British number 1 knows how to win a Gp.

Hancock to win with Nicki, Hans and Jarek Hampel in the final.

Great gesture by Hans who takes a lot of stick on here, just a pity one or two other riders didn't do the same.

Excellent performance last night from Nicki. For me what a podium, Nicki 1st who I said would be world champion this year, Hans 2nd because he rides for the Panthers and Chris 3rd what a ride from a Brit.

Like so many others it has to be Hans, Holta and PK.

I just knew I would come on here and people would have another go at Hans. Scotty was riding hard all night and he touched Hans. Agreed Scotty has a problem with Hans and should get over it. Hans will be world champion Scotty never will while he has a chip on his shoulder.

I put my money on Lindback this morning at 33's. After all he has had a good rest so should not be tired tonight.

I said at the time Jason would want to beat Hans because he is likely to be world champion and as Hans has won the only GP he has been in and then beat him tonight, would his inevitable World Championship title then be a hollow one especially if Hans also wins the Scandinavian GP as well.

I agree with you that this forum is about airing your views, now come on Mr Moore admit that Hans was hard done by last night and that he is a class rider whether you like him or not. Then I will have more respect for your comments. I don't expect one however or any positive replies on the forum aboUt the Panthers. I was lucky to be at the press conference after the match last night and Hans was so pleased holding the trophy. I have a lovely photo of it so if you would like a copy send me a PM.

You are a sad man Mr Moore, you come on here every so often and on the Panthers page having a go at Hans or the Panthers. I see you even had a go at a Poole match you went to see and say how boring it was. I think your time would be better employed watching tiddlywinks in outer Mongolia, no controvesy and rivetting action.

Well said Cat, they were my thoughts as well. Roll on Saturday, I'll be there and hoping GB win. If that does not happen then club loyalties kick in and that means Denmark for me with Hans leading the way.

Just done Hampel at 25 to 1 and the wife has done Lindback each way at 66 to1

I would imagine the change of date is due to the World Cup starts on the 9th June and there is a possibility that England could be playing on the 10th.

He has not changed over the years. As I posted on the " best era of speedway", I see him every day. When I tell him he was one of my favourites he goes all bashful. Pinned a photo of him up on the office wall in his Kings Lynn days.Drives a lorry now and when he is nearly loaded I shout to him " Ian Turner is on two minutes". He normally comes back about 5 minutes later and says in our days two minutes was always a lot longer than it is today.Great guy.
