  1. Continual Tai slating stating the same points over and over again is not debating. Me adding my opposite and personal (not sheep bandwagon jumping) POV is. In light of that, coming on here reading the same old nonsense day after day again validates 'is this still going on'. As you seem to feel you have a high level of intelligence, I shouldn't have to explain the above to you....but of course you were only being sarcastic...
  2. I have explained myself above in post #326...feel free to read and digest what's written then kindly review the above complete and utter nonsense.
  3. Maybe my response to the post in question was tongue in cheek too? Wooooooooooooosh! I am following nobody with my comments so I am not following any 'sheep'. The comments of others validate my posts because I have the opposite opinion, it's called debating. Yes I'm fed up of reading 'Tai is an Aussie at heart', 'It's a disgrace he's not riding in the British Final', blah, blah, blah, so I feel that this thread needs some balance. Again that's called debating.
  4. A lot of riders say they LOSE money riding in the GP's so that alone proves you're completely wrong. Every one of those riders you've quoted felt at some stage they could win the World Championship and all of them wanted to be there. As for Harris, he genuinely does feel he can win it, he said so a few days ago in an article on the GP website. I personally don't think he will get close, but if you think you can't from the outset then forget it!!
  5. More classic laughable codswallop! Gavan and I both understand 'the argument' as you put it very well. It's the likes of yourself that are refusing to take step back and think for a few moments, instead you just follow the sheep. Try thinking as an individual for once, you may even write something worth reading.
  6. Oh I love your continuing codswallop, you never fail to make me laugh at you!
  7. And so it rages on... What a sad bunch some of you are. Tai is British, rides for Team GB as a Brit and is proud of both but at the same time has huge affection also for the country he was brought up in. What's so difficult to understand with that? NOWT. He doesn't want to ride in the British final this year as he want to concentrate 100% on the World Championship. Again, what's so difficult to understand with that? NOWT. Fin.
  8. How right I was! I'd like to say respect to both Gavan and BWitcher who like myself (and a few others) have taken a step back and sensibly thought about things before posting. I suggest a few others should do the same...however pigs flying has more of a chance! I doubt they care tbh. A few may feel they have more of a chance of winning now, but other than that...probably not a lot.
  9. How wrong you are has already been explained a few times in previous posts...but don't let that stop you from saying it all over again
  10. Harris is a different kettle of fish. Tai will (hopefully) and expects to be challenging for the World title by then...unfortunately the same scenario can't be said for Harris, even though I'd personally love him to be up there too but being a realist that's very unlikely. Barring injuries Harris must now be the favourite for the British title with Scotty and Cookie not far behind him.
  11. Havelock does it again and Middlo & Kyle own him http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/speedway/piratesnews/14394390.Speedway__Middleditch_hits_back_at_Havelock_over_Newman_criticism/
  12. Exactly what I've been saying! At the end of the day Tai is his own man who makes his own decisions just like we all do. He has decided to focus on the World Championship in 2016 and not risk injury/fatigue in the British Final bearing in mind there's a GP sandwiched in there. His goal is to be a multi World Champion so his decision makes sense to me. It's his choice so bleating on about it is pointless and rather silly...but I'm sure it won't stop all the usual keyboard warriors who have nothing better to do carrying on with their pathetic persecution. Tai is British through and through but loves the country he grew up in. What's wrong with that? Sweet FA!!
  13. Tai Woffinden - British at all times. Fin.
  14. The one where he won the World Championship? Yep he sung the Aussie national anthem WTF has Chris Froome got to do with Tai? Nothing. Pretty good post fella.
  15. We do not all know that. Post something which proves it. Good luck!
  16. Not so, this is clearly the view of many on here. . Propose those feeling that way email Chapman and Rossiter and advocate TW is not selected for Team GB unless he reverses his decision. How can 2 meetings burn him out ? . . I was wrong, this is the comedy post of 2016! Check out the amount likes on posts supporting Tai compared to those on posts berating him. As for your second point He was born here you buffoon! So yep, more Aussie
  17. So if the British Title isn't an INDIVIDUAL event (not meeting), what is it??? Snobs like me? WTF are you banging on about? I support Poole so I'm a snob? What a crock of crap! I think it's you talking mother hubbard HS!
  18. Comedy post of 2016 so far! Congratulations
  19. I've not laughed so much in a long time reading this thread. Some of the posts are just ridiculous! Get a grip people, Tai has other priorities this year namely his third World Championship. Riding in our national INDIVIDUAL event is not the same as representing TEAM GB at the SWC. It's his personal choice not to do it. What has the British Final got to do with the SWC? Bugger all that's what. Tai has repeatedly stated he's proud to represent Britain, he year on year talks about how he's looking forward to representing Britain and never once has he commented that he would like to ride for Australia so FFS stop banging on about him being an Aussie! Tai was born here to British parents but was brought up in Aus. so has an understandable (by grown up people) strong affection for Australia, and THAT IS IT. Good grief.
  20. Nobody has said he will. I stated that he won't be expected to score heavily, especially away from home, when he moves into the 1-5 as second string.
  21. Rubbish. Him starting at reserve gives Poole strength in depth throughout the whole team and that's something Newman has ackowledged. When (not if) Newman moves up and somebody (anybody in our case) moves down we will still have a very strong reserve pairing. That is the point Coventry missed. So either Coventry missed a trick or Garrity wasn't interested in the team building, unlike Newman. Newman has proven in the last couple of seasons he can beat other teams 1-5's around Wimbourne Road and he (just like the other second strings) won't be expected to score heavily on all away meetings.
  22. Interesting press article in todays Bournemouth Echo from Newman himself regarding his starting position in the reserves and why he agreed to it this season. It also proves that he is a team man. I suggest Gavan (and a few others) read it... http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/speedway/piratesnews/14391163.Speedway__Top_five_target_for_Pirates_charger_Newman/ It's a shame Garrity didn't feel the same...or was it that Coventry just didn't have the same foresight? Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. I am amazed at just how deep your hole has become and it just gets deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper and deeper...
  23. As I've said on numerous occasions, ignore Matt Ford's laccy....us sensible Poole supporters do Is there an echo in here? So remind me, what country is Garrity riding in outside of GB? Out of the two Newman is the more consistent EL rider. Let's see where they're both at in a month or two... Oh and I invite you to come to Poole to watch us and in particular Newman, you may change your opinion once you do. Newman is 100% Poole and wants only what's best for Poole. Garrity is all about Garrity and that is detriment to himself and Coventry which is reflected in their poor team. Garrity is nothing better than a reserve even in the weak EL.
  24. I actually said, every promoter had access to every available rider. If Buzz isn't included within that then my statement \s written is correct No gloating here fella, but there is no reason why we shouldn't celebrate a convincing win - be it against a 'top' team or a 'weaker' team. Every sport has stronger and weaker teams, riders, drivers or individuals. The fact that Poole are strong this season when some other teams are not is not Poole's problem. The BSPA and all teams as a collective have made the league weaker year on year, not Poole. And you know I don't stand for some of the strokes Matt Ford has pulled, however this season he's pulled a cracking team out of the bag when others haven't. Oh and your comments regarding Newman are so very wide of the mark and Garrity will NEVER ride for Team GB as he's not or will ever be good enough. An honest assessment, well done that man (I assume!). Good point
