Tai has explained his reasoning so I don't comprehend the issue. I think it's very sad that British speedway fans cannot respect and accept things, no matter what club they support. As I said previously, only a handful of speedway fans throughout the UK share your view and Cardiff will prove that fact.

I hear you Gavan and I agree 100%. Shovlar is a fellow Pirate supporter who has always been pretty opinionated on most things so his posts regarding Tai are nothing new to us. However, I've no idea why his view is so strong and I, as a fellow Pirate, will NOT be backing him up! As for Tai v Darcy, that's a battle I personally would have loved to have seen develop over the years. As for who was the better rider, that's purely a matter of opinion. It's a shame you can't see the big(ger) picture regarding Tai's decision!

I'm a Poole fan who will ALWAYS be supporting our current best BRIT. Like Gavan and a few others I can see beyond the crock most of you are crowing! To be fair RP, you have made one or two rather sweeping statements which you haven't provided any evidence in justifying them. As you know I am Poole through and through, but I don't like a fair bit of what Matt Ford has done over the years and I certainly wouldn't blindly kiss his butt like a certain poster does. Please don't become like him as you're far better than that Do what I do, read the guff and ignore it. There are a handful of posters on here I don't give the time of day to as they are incapable of having a reasoned discussion and all they like to do is bash the Mighty Pirates. On the other hand there are a few 'poole bashers' (as some call them) who I'm happy to chew the fat with as they are purely speedway fans like myself calling out Matt Ford for the, let's be honest, pretty underhand things he has done. We all agree that Matt Ford is the best in the business, however he does occasionally go overboard and that's one aspect of our club I don't like.

Poole have nothing to do with emptying terraces. Many viable reasons for this have already been posted, but yet you ignore them to have another pop at Poole Speedway and it's unjustified. I think Holder will surprise some of you and I also think Harris will have a better year and finish around 9th - 10th. Barring injuries, the World title will be between Woofy, Iversen and Pedersen who seems to have a huge hunger to win again with Janowski, Holder and Doyle not far behind. Might be Greg's first downhill year. Hampel to be the wooden spooner purely to injury, missed meetings and race fitness. The rest in pretty much any order filling the remaining spots.
