As stevebrum says it was just a post by a forum poster...doesn't mean it actually took place. I, like you, could post all sorts of 'stories' on here but it doesn't mean they're all true. PLEASE NOTE: I'm not having a pop at you Flagrag, just making a point p.s. I'm beginning to think that robert72 has a bit of a man crush on Tai, your obsessed fella!

Well, well, well...the same old guff being regurgitated once again. Poole were well and truly beaten by a far better side on the night who wanted it more on a worse than usual woeful track. That's all that happened people. Back in the real world the EL isn't won or lost in May so one home loss is hardly anything to be concerned about. Well done Belle Vue

I didn't say I couldn't create a B of Q (Standard Method of Measurement blah, blah, blah) because I often do, I said I couldn't knock one up for a multi million pound project and likewise a QS couldn't design a new structure or highway. That is my point. Different disciplines requiring different qualifications and with completely different industry standards to know etc. etc. Having a basic understanding is not the same so I stand by my initial post. Now please let that be an end to it.
-
So no 'hands on' engineering design then? Exactly what I was saying. I work alongside all of those folks, but I don't profess to be able to do everything they do. A QS for example does not know anything about engineering design and visa versa so I couldn't knock up a BofQ for a multi million pound contract. They are completely separate disciplines. If you think differently then you're either a genius or living in cloud cuckoo land.
-
Well that's a load of cobblers, a QS basically measures things and an Architectural Technician is a low grade post within an Architectural practice which basically involves drawing pretty pictures. Neither of which get involved in structural or civil engineering design which is where the knowledge to know about this type of thing would come from. I should know as I've worked in the civils/construction industry for over 20 years so I'd say I am more technically minded than you on things such as this Concrete starting gates would be hugely dangerous for all of the reasons posted, and that's from a very experienced Civil/Structural Engineer not a QS or Architectural Technician both of which would have no understanding whatsoever of how a concrete starting gate would need to be designed.

Poole Pirates Vs Leicester Lions 18/5/16

That is all. -
Who is better...Newman or Worrall...that's a new one to me! I've not seen enough of Worrall to make a fully considered opinion, however as a Poole supporter I can categorically tell you that Newman loves riding for us and gives everything every time he steps onto his bike. Can the same be said about Worrall and BV? I have no idea to be fair, so if he does then fair play. In all honesty, does it really matter? That's my tuppence worth

Pathetic? According to who??? About 3 or 4 posters on here. Ha,ha!! As Del Boy used to say...what a plonker you really are Rod...err...robert! It doesn't mean he's well known! My father and I are speedway addicts and have been for donkey's but my wife and my sister and her husband have never heard of Jason Crump! Case closed m'lud. -

In the last 2 pages alone you've abused myself, stevebrum, BWitcher and Gavan and the list is even longer if you go back another couple of pages so your popularity is way up there innit All of the above have justified pretty much everything they have posted, yet all you do in response is repeatedly post the same Tai hate nonsense with absolutely no sensible argument behind it. It's just your personal opinion in your personal agenda against Tai so stop ramming it down all of our throats! Lisa shares the same opinion, however she puts things across differently and backs up her opinion -

Err....feel free to check the 'likes' on our posts on this thread alone and I think you'll see that mine outnumber yours by 10 to 1, but you carry on raving in your little bubble. Oh and it took me seconds to think of that response...but it's still more interesting than anything you post! Agreed and good luck with the waiting as it might be a rather looooooooooooooooooooooong wait -

Try telling robert72 that as apparently he's upset the majority. -

WOW! Somebody finally beats the paperboy for the 'most ridiculous post of the year so far' award. You are showing yourself to be clueless post after post after post. You're being proven wrong on everything you write. Just give it up. Oh dear, oh dear you surpassed it within 1 post! -
Oi! Not all of us are anti-Tai! It's only Lisa (who obviously doesn't know her limits! ) and the train spotter as far as I am aware.

chris4gillian replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I take it you've never taken a flight or been on a very long drive....both are very tiring just the once let alone 4 or 5 times a week! Come on man, stop coming up with silly reasons to try to discredit Woofy. What has he ever done to you? Jack, nowt, bugger all, sweet FA, nada, zilch that's what. -

One is approaching 40 the other in his mid 20's. Lets compare stats when Tai is 38 and then your post will have some credibility. You beat me to it! In YOUR opinion, not many others. -

I don't comprehend why Tai not riding in the UK is such a big deal to some of you. It's ridiculous the stuff a number of you are posting. He doesn't currently ride in the UK, so bleedin' what? It's as if your lives are being ruled by this rather insignificant thing. So very sad. As for the arrogance, that's a trait a world beater needs! However, just ask Great Ormond Street if they think he's arrogant when away from the track... -
Could Woffy Be Making An El Return?
chris4gillian replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
But in that era speedway was a much bigger and widely shown sport. It's declined drastically, especially in the UK, since then. That may have something to do with it don't you think? For someone that claims to be an ex rider you come across as someone who doesn't seem to know a huge amount about speedway as a whole. Oh and you must be running out of new things to try to knock Britain's best by now! -

chris4gillian replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
You seem to blame everything wrong with speedway in this country on Tai. He is NOT the reason speedway is on a serious decline so for pity's sake stop saying that he is. If you take a step back and think about things rationally you might just come up with numerous credible reasons for the decline, not one of them having to do with Tai! Tai (like others on here who have reiterated) has fully explained his reasons for not riding in the British final. You take exception to that (for some unknown reason) which is your prerogative, but you don't need to be posting the same thing time and time again on thread after thread. WE GET IT! Tai does not currently ride in the EL - just accept it. Tai will not be riding in the British Final - just accept it. Tai (like a long list of other world class riders) did not ride in the Ben Fun Bonanza - just accept it. And Tai is the best we (NOT Australia) have by a country mile - just accept it FFS! And relax -

Yeah, I've noticed his rather one minded view. One day he might actually sensibly justify it. -
Could Woffy Be Making An El Return?
chris4gillian replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Why? It's his personal choice as it is every other riders. Plenty of missing riders would have increased the turn out so it's rather ridiculous to pin it just on Tai. Oh and Tai has done more charity work during the past few years than any other rider, gosh what an absolutely bloody awful role model he is! -
Could Woffy Be Making An El Return?
chris4gillian replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
What an absolutely narrow minded opinion. So you're saying that just because some youngsters grab the fantastic chance to have some training with the world champion they will want to emulate Tai's love of tats and ear wear? Completely and utterly ridiculous! Tai is the current (2 time) World Champion so he is a self made role model no matter what you think. Oh and for the love of God give up on the 'he didn't ride in the Ben Fund Bonanza', you sound like a 6 year old crying because they lost their balloon! NEWSFLASH, a whole host of other riders didn't ride too!! Se my post above!!!
