  1. You just can't help yourself can you...the last 'uninterested' word this time
  2. Of course he did. Just waiting for the next one even though there is nothing to reply to on my last post. He's probably googling 'delusion' right now to tell me how deluded I am for using the word 'delusion'
  3. And there it is folks...more cobblers because he cannot stand not having the last word even though he has been told I will never agree with him. The highlighted bit made me laugh out loud. Delusion is a wonderful thing.
  4. Anyone know if the 2010 KO Cup Final 2nd Leg will be available this evening? Nowt on the Poole Pirates web site. Apologies in advance if I've missed somewhere that says when/if it will be available. Ta!
  5. Utter, utter nonsense. I have claimed from the outset Covid and Flu are different virus' and therefore act differently in many ways. You just continue to state time and time again that they are spread the same way (I have always said a similar way because the infection rates and the amount of exposure to each required to contract each one differs) and Flu numbers now outweigh Covid by so much that Covid is now almost insignificant. I do not share your OPINION that Covid is nothing to be concerned about and that is why you just bang on and on and on back to me in the vain hope I will bow down to your greater OPINION. That will never happen. I await the obligatory 'gotta prove you wrong as I have to have the last word 'cos you're talking rubbish' response....
  6. I agree, I don't think he's done that either, but I DO think his manner and pig headedness to anyone who disagrees with his point of view or challenges anything he posts is very OTT. He is definitely obsessed with Covid and especially Covid v Flu and spends hours and hours trawling the web finding articles and links to statistics just so he can prove (I prefer force) his opinion on anyone who's crazy enough to read it. And he HAS to have the last word on everything....wait for it.... He also has a little clique on here who tend to agree with every word he posts...I believe you have an honorary membership to this clique
  7. You're responding to the wrong poster with those comments as I have not done any of those things...I have in fact stated that I do not think BWitcher is a bully!!!
  8. I'm quite possibly one of the least vulnerable people around so he can carry on with his crusade/bullying tactics, I'm now ignoring him but yet he's still posting responses to me. The words 'screw' and 'loose' have come to mind
  9. Point proven yet again so case closed m'lud
  10. There are currently two Covid threads, one here and one in the General Discussion section. BWitcher has hijacked both with continuous thread posting day after day. He won't listen to anyone except himself (or DC2 who seems to follow him around like a sheep). I don't think BWitcher is bullying to be fair, however he is strongly opinionated and needs to have the last word on everything! He must trawl the web for hours and hours trying to find snippets of information to prove EVERYONE else they're wrong and he's right. Every badly hit country in the world has dealt with Covid in a similar way, albeit on differing lockdown levels, however he flatly refuses to accept that lockdowns reduce the spread of the virus. Edit: And he's still responding to my posts banging the same drum when I have clearly stated I will not be responding to him any longer as it's a waste of time. Not quite sure what he's taking but I certainly don't want any of it lol. Just can't help himself, gotta have the last word...every time...
  11. My son has recently been diagnosed as Autistic, his diagnosis is on the very lowest grade of the Autism spectrum however he's still considered as being Autistic. It's not something to joke about, however iainb has asked a plausible question...whilst BWitcher just continues his obsessive tirade.
  12. You raise some fair points but I personally know some health professionals who say differently ref. treatments for life threatening conditions including cancer.
  13. He HAS to have the last word....can't help himself. Must spend the whole day trawling the web for articles to post links to as he's obsessed with Covid and how lockdown doesn't work even though every affected country in the world has locked down to some extent. I'm not responding to any more of his posts as it's a waste of time and effort.
  14. I can and I have. You just go on and on and on posting stuff you've found on the web which justifies and 'backs up' your opinion. You're whole agenda is based upon media stories, internet news articles, published numbers on various web sites etc etc. It's not based upon any kind of personal knowledge or expertise. It's like a hobby for you. God knows how much time you spend trawling the web for yet another article you feel is relevant to your OPINION which you can post on here. I would be happy to discuss things with someone who is open to other folks points of view and opinions. However that someone is not you. Good luck with your crusade, the rest of us will spend our precious time (and that's what it is at the moment) doing more constructive things.
  15. Can't be bothered any more, you are a closed obsessed book.
  16. And I could post a number of studies from other sources which contradict this...and they're not published in the daily mail!
  17. The lockdown is not the cause of this, the Covid virus is. As for appointments, I don't know anyone who has had an appointment for a life threatening condition cancelled or has had trouble being seen by a medical professional throughout the pandemic. I DO know folk (myself included) who have had appointments cancelled and have now all been rescheduled - but none for serious or life threatening conditions. Nothing to deny about that whatsoever. Of course lockdown has caused deaths, but that is largely due to the fear of the individual in many cases. Care homes are an obvious exception to this for the well publicised reasons.
  18. No hospital 'effectively' shut at any point throughout the lockdown. Yes a lot of hospital staff were redeployed to assist with the number of Covid patients, however essential appointments and life threatening treatments continued. It was only because folk were in fear of going to hospital (many still are) which meant that a high number of treatments didn't take place. That was a personal choice each individual made. The Government have continually stated throughout the pandemic that hospitals are open for all treatments unless you have been notified otherwise. I had a hospital appointment in May which I was firstly informed would be carried over the phone instead of attending in person and then a week later it was cancelled all together. This wasn't a concern as it wasn't for anything life threatening. However if it was, do you think it would have been cancelled? We have been into hospital twice in the past couple of weeks (kids, who'd have 'em?) and have felt safe on both occasions. However I still know some that are scared to go...which is their prerogative. As for the Covid v Flu argument, I have previously posted evidence which explains the differences and why the behave differently . I haven't got the time or the inclination to trawl through pages and pages to find it as I'm not obsessed with Covid and I haven't got the man hours available (like some) to be on this forum countless times a day every day.
  19. Yes, in the countries which have been fortunate enough to have low case numbers. Look at the highly populated countries, it's a very different story in those! Lockdown (on whatever level it's imposed) saves lives, that is a FACT not my opinion. On that note my children are calling so farewell for now
  20. For the love of God...cases (and deaths) are currently so low BECAUSE of the lockdown. If we return to life as normal the pandemic will be off and running once again. Yes the death toll will probably be a lot lower, however isn't it best to continue with lockdown/social distancing etc. for a while yet so that Covid deaths remain extremely low? Nobody can predict how many deaths a 'second wave' may or may not cause - and I for one feel that 1 death is 1 death too many.
  21. In extreme situations such as care homes, yes I agree. However, the number of cases and death toll would have been (and could still be) much, much higher if lockdown wasn't introduced. That is a FACT which you will no doubt try to counter argue once again. As I keep saying, lockdown is a world wide thing so please keep posting that the whole world has got it wrong.
