That's a shame as he rode really well last night. Chasing a lost cause in heat 15 and came a right cropper exiting the fourth bend of the last lap

Coventry V Kings Lynn Fri 31st July 2015
ABS replied to g13webb's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If and and it's a big if, Belle Vue qualify, Cov will most probably pick BV, as they ride our track better than their own. Poole vs KL over two legs could be tight, depends who turns up on the nights. -
Would love to see him back riding at Belle Vue for the Peter Craven Memorial meeting at our new stadium.

Was there on Friday watching the Aces and have to confess that I like my visits to Lakeside. It would be great for the sport if, as part of the deal (if there is a deal), Lakeside carried on with a new up-to-date stadium which was marketed well. Before the meeting I spent some time at the Lakeside shops and didn't see any evidence of a speedway meeting that evening being marketed. Lakeside, like Belle Vue, has a large catchment area and both should be getting better crowds than they do.

Just like our old days at MGS!!!

Oh dear - Can't see Aces getting much out of this

Does anyone have any ideas as to who the guest riders are tomorrow? You get more coming out of a Masonic Lodge meeting than you do from either the Lakeside or Belle Vue web sites.

Belle Vue V Coventry Bees Monday 22nd June

And a quick mention for the much maligned GRA, who honoured their word from last week and made parking available free of charge on production of last weeks ticket. -

Don't think Zagar "let" HArris through. Fine ride by Bomber - give credit where it's due. -
No co-ordination at all. They were still letting people in to the Car Park after the meeting had been called off. As I objected to paying £2.50 for one minutes parking, I complained. The Showsec employee went to speak to someone from the "GRA Management" and I was told that I could obtain free parking on Monday if I retained my parking ticket and bring it with me, which I will do. Some people were asking me what to do with their admission ticket and hopefully I provided the correct advice. Really feel sorry for the Wolves fans. Rain-offs sadly are part and parcel of the sport, but this one could and should have been called earlier. One more nail in th ecoffin, I'm afraid to say

Nonsense - he was brilliant for Belle Vue
-
If Bjarne is the answer, then it's a stupid question.
-
Is he related to Tony Blair, then?
-
10 out of 10, well 7 out of 7, at least!! Now where do you reckon we'll finish this year?
-
With the visa situation as regards Aussies, does this mean that the deal was done a while back, pending Visa approval? Also, does the Visa tie Max into Belle Vue for two years?

Inside info?

I'd take KK at Belle Vue anyday. Was a brilliant number one for us and had just one bad meeting all year. It was a shame that Moron (no spelling mistake) focused on that meeting, ironically at Coventry, as opposed to the rest of the season.

We can start with what he did when winning the coin toss for gate positions at Kirky Lane and never changing reserves to give the stronger reserve Gate 4.

Four letters - starting with a B perhaps?
-
We all know that he can. If we get 2nd pick, it must be Garrity, as Leicester won't take him as he rides Saturday's at Rye House.

Maybe this is the wrong thread, but it was stated that the downturn in revenue from Sky would be compensated for by the Elite League obtaining sponsorship for the league as a whole. My question is what happened, or rather didn't happen as regards this sponsorship and what was the negative impact on each club's revenue stream as compared to the previous Sky deal? Who was tasked with going out and bringing in such a deal? What I am really asking is would sponsorship have been the difference between B'Ham closing down and Eastbourne leaving the Elite League, as I suspect is the case?

Birmingham Brummies - Has The Come Back Trail Started?

Perhaps these are the key words: "I won’t be able to promote speedway in the Elite League or Premier League at Perry Barr next season." Does this leave the door open to Cradley at National League level, I wonder?
