  1. According to Lakeside site, teams as follows: BELLE VUE: Matej Zagar, Steve Worrall, Patrick Hougaard, Scott Nicholls, Craig Cook, Richie Worrall, Joe Jacobs. VORTEX HAMMERS: Robert Lambert, Lewis Bridger, Edward Kennett, Richard Lawson, Kim Nilsson, Ben Morley, Robert Branford.
  2. And all of this has what exactly to do with BV vs Lakeside?
  3. Not for the faint-hearted, but maybe they could major in on Bjarne's scan and focus on his attempts to get fit for Wednesday, with a few races from Belle Vue interspersed?
  4. Think Wolves can beat Poole. Might be a tad more difficult against a Poole/Swindon/Indianerna select.
  5. Yeh that's right - Max deliberately rode into Hans. Sometimes you do take blue-eyed stupidity to a new level.
  6. One of the reasons it wasn't on Sky news, the BBC, ITV, Eurosport, etc. is that the sport lacks credibility - credibility which is dwindling by the day as a consequence of Poole's actions.
  7. If only Hans could return in place of Bjarne, things would be just perfect down Wimborne Road way.
  8. There's more chance of me going to Old Trafford with a red&white scarf on.
  9. We can now anticipate the premature "retirement" of Bjarne, which will allow Poole to handpick guests for what remains of the play-offs. Will not be breaking any rules, of course, but showing, as with the Lindback affair, what a morally bankrupt outfit our friends on the South Coast really is. I hope that our unchanged 1-7 win the play-offs and no doubt most, if not all, neutrals will be behind The Aces.
  10. Does GMP have any warrants outstanding? Serious question.
  11. I can see the argument now - Lindback's average was achieved under a different race format. With the current one, heat leaders meet heat leaders more often, therefore a reduction is in order. Counter argument is that the league is diluted from years previous. Poole's argument won the day, end of. Hoping that the same seven of Belle Vue prevail in the play-offs, as they have all contributed to our success this season.
  12. Not a fact. Maybe Cookie wouldn't have experimented in Heat 15, or even rode to the line if the result was in doubt. Maybe Lemon would have chosen Zagar, who could have gated and beaten the two Pirates. All ifs buts and maybes - only one fact on offer and that's The Aces won.
  13. Wonder what happens if Hans refuses to see a medic and get a sick note? I'd assume Poole would be forced to go with him in the team.
  14. I would. Hasn't ridden it well this season - better options around with a similar average.
  15. "Stuart Giles, Belle Vue's Commercial Manager" - now there was an oxymoron if ever there was. Sadly, BV has drifted along the path of commercial/marketing mediocrity over the past 22 years since this article was published.
  16. Agreed - provided fantastic entertainment on their visit to Belle Vue in one of the most exciting meetings at NSS
  17. Would he have stayed in the UK following Wednesday's meeting? If he hasn't gone back to Slovenia, surely BV would have know a lot sooner than lunchtime today.
  18. Count your blessings, we have to listen to his inane ramblings every week.
  19. He looked very comfortable to me in the Bees vs Aces "A" meeting.
  20. Was at Belle Vue on Friday and our track staff managed to to blade & grade the track and get the meeting on. An excellent meeting it was too. The attitude of the Leicester riders was spot on, with every one of them giving it a go. Reading what went on, that might be where the problem was with KL.
