Also thought this was quite a good meeting, Ace P impressed me with his racing brain when ahead/passing/trying to and what a great rider from Trigger when re-passing and holding off Rushen. Only a few of them looked out of their depth.

I've always been concerned with the lack of any physical kerb at King's Lynn - I remember being on the centre when racing was taking place and feeling distinctly vulnerable to a bike ploughing into me off the second bend at full pelt. I'm surprised no-one has ever raised that as a H&S issue!

Although that only leaves 7 places for new challengers as currently some of the current GP riders opt out of the qualifiers and risk not getting back in, which gives more spots in the challenge meeting for new triers. Your system gives existing GP riders a backstop which I'm not so keen on.

I think the interpretation of the 'crosses the inner edge of the track' will be the same as 'crosses the white line fully with both wheels' In any case, the ref wasn't interested!

Both wheels have to be wholly over the line - and even then if they're doing that to avoid a collision it's ok - which he wasn't but Emil could have taken that route to avoid the almost stationary Leicester rider on bend 3/4.

That was a pretty good meeting, the Leicester track provides good opportunity for racing and of course the tension was visible. I expected Brennan in heat 15.

Wasn't solely the atmosphere at all though. As I said, the production/running of the event for fans at the stadium was very poor. Forgot to mention GB - Bewley didn't ride like I expected him to but Lambert was ok and Brennan gave it a go.
