That is tragic, thanks for sharing. It always frustrates me when we have a death and no-one seems willing to reveal the cause, it helps people understand and deal with it.

Always plenty at Foxhall
-
There is already a winner after 5 rides each. Maybe the odd run-off would be all that's needed but things move on. There's no point moaning about it as these are the rules for this year, embrace it. Two exciting races at the end, great stuff. Everyone knew a draw would see them get another chance.

I think it makes it a more exciting finish - a bit like the final of the British Final or GP

Museliak was pony when at Ipswich earlier this season so perhaps they want to give him more practice? Should've been Howarth and Ellis I think as we don't know Holder's form as he doesn't ride at Foxhall any more it seems

Perhaps Nigel Flatman could be tempted for a six-week contract?

A recurrence of a collarbone injury

I think helmet wearing depends upon the referee and the track as well. At Foxhall they come around on the stock car track without helmets, which is outside the speedway track so this cannot be H&S because the risk is the same, whether on or outside the actual racing surface. More likely 'one of those rules' which frustrates fans and makes no sense. Riding around for a lap of honour adds negligible wear and tear as the engine is only at very low revs. I also agree with the original poster about heading back to the tapes after a restart - KT mentions this a lot in commentary, there is no real need for them to stop. Some riders do a practice start before they pull up to the tapes the first time and another start with time in between again makes little difference. I think it's more to get set mentally or to go through the same routine as for the original start - very frustrating as a fan when you have delays like that.

Will he ride for Panthers again this year I wonder?
-
Disagree on that, especially Kildemand.

A poor season? - not that many meetings so far!

Sheffield vs Wolves 9/6/22

That's why Ipswich dropped him. Needs to concentrate on championship I think, walk before running. -
Edinburgh - new home required….

Completely agree. This is why I find Polish extraleague quite boring because I enjoy watching riders mastering a track or failing badly and it's not always about overtaking or the best set up bike. -
Nope, would've been off by lunchtime if that was the case surely

Surely this will be called off, rain according to the forecast.

20.05.22 - Scunthorpe v Newcastle (league, BSN)

That isn't the point though. I don't mind travelling only to discover the weather intervenes, it happens and I would check in advance. If promoters pick and choose for whatever reason, then so will I. Even more galling if I was local. -

Completely agree. This meeting should have gone ahead. I for one will not travel far any more because of this and certainly not plan in advance. -

What again? hmm. -
Ha, yeah, did they sell double glazing as well? I'd heard that if you continually adjust your clutch cable on the start line and also drop the clutch repeatedly so the bike lurches forwards, you will make blinding starts, nothing to do with anything else.
-
Or, a very short one

Decorative only. Some tuners will go for a look for their brand or a rider may want to distinguish between engines.

I thought Louis was pretty honest in his programme notes about the results so far and to quote Danny King's words was also a reflection of their frustration. Confidence/mental strength is so key in all sports and what separates champions on that day from the rest. Nobody will be more disappointed with their performances than the riders themselves and kicking them won't always help. The league starts at Foxhall next week with a really strong looking Belle Vue outfit (should Zagar be in their team and not Allen) and it must be a frightening prospect for the Witches.
