I think the UK counts as 'one league', so I don't think that would have an impact.

There are simply too many GP rounds now, it's become boring. I switched off from them two GP's ago. Each event is now less important whereas when there were only six it was something you wanted to witness.

Yes, in my view. It's only some riders who can't handle it/turn the bike - "up your skills mate, this is speedway!" I've seen nothing wrong with the track at all and it's an easy one to blame. If the fastest/best rider makes the start then there shouldn't be any passing. Years gone by lots of overtaking was due to rider errors/fear/less skill, now it's predominently only when the fast guy misses the start.

They can use a guest replacement if they choose to as well can't they?

Kemp was the difference - his previous years' scores at Foxhall have never been that good! (overall foxhall average about 3.8) I think the Thompson engine helped him get off the start as Joe always makes good starts.

It was a close affair last night and good to see some Leicester fans making some noise. Shame Ipswich let points slip with King and Lawson falling but that's how it goes sometimes. Kemp was awesome for Leicester, 15 from a 5 point reserve has won them the cup I think. Brennan was woeful yet again, even when he makes good starts he gets beat up around the first couple of bends and given the side Ipswich have, if your 'number one' only gets 4/5 points meeting it's never going to end in success. I hope he can turn it around but we're now coming into August. Moaners on here make me laugh, ooh the track this or that, nothing wrong as far as I can see - last night was a little slicker but that's how speedway has always been in the UK and is what makes it more interesting for me, rather than fastest engine wins on a billiard table.

He was not using the right lines though, always trying to turn too hard to cut underneath - a Harris style outside pass would've worked a dream. Passing to me is not the be all and end all - if that's what it's all about then just make the best riders at that particular track start from a handicap. I agree with your earlier post that it's about the race, which isn't just overtaking and some riders can handle inconsistent or grippy/slick tracks better than others, that's what makes it unpredictable.
