Nothing to do with age and you shouldn't need to learn by forcing other riders to fall. He chose to move left - it wasn't something outside of his control.
-
I h000pe he didn't get the part?

Third highest scorer at Sheffield, what does that say about the rest, including our GB star and No.1 š I always thought this team would be unpredictable and so far it's turning out that way. As long as they all give it 100% I'm happy, especially after seeing the lack of effort from Foxes riders last night. The only consistent so far is how well King is going.
-
He should have shot from the hip, would get more talking going and add stuff for media to use.
-
If they could drop him they should. Lidsey and Batch also dreadful, it's the lack of effort I'd find appalling if I were a Foxes supporter.
-
Never said it was. It seems some riders just get injured more than others.

What, for the reform or tory clowns? 14 years of their rule has left the country in tatters, and well done Nigel for brexit, what a disaster.

No doubt in my mind that many riders refused due to the 'no money/more money elsewhere' angle for the reserve. I would take a different stance where a GB place was concerned and good luck to Cairns, much rather have riders that want to be there - his Grandad's also a lovely fella.

Stars vs Tigers - Prem - Monday 27th April

It's a boys name in many places but mostly Italy (their version of Michael). I remember the Ferrari F1 driver Michele Alboreto. Other cross gender names include Vivian, Shirley, Marion and Sydney. -

Seems not - from the Stars website preview following the crash the other day "Castagna thankfully avoided any broken bones but he did receive heavy bruising and an ankle injury which rules him out of action." -

Should be banned then or will the old 'suffered a reaction' line be used - if it's still a valid excuse? -
He really is accident proneš¤

Bandits v Comets KO Cup 1/4 Final Sat 25/4/26 7pm
SPEEDY69 replied to Normski's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I haven't seen any of the meeting, just reading comments on here but I'm not particularly a fan of video replays. Plenty of contact is made in the sport but much of this is not enough to create a fall but unfortunately I think replays encourage riders to do exactly that as they know they'll get back in the re-run. I've seen it so many times, from Harris in a British Final to Nicki P & Hans A in GPs. Those who choose to stay on, as they should, can feel aggrieved but to fall on purpose risks injury to self and others. There shouldn't need to be a fall for exclusions to occur. As I said, this is not about this particular incident as I haven't seen it. -
Was a good meeting to watch and I'd say this is perhaps the best race track in the UK. It wasn't just fastest bike wins, there was a very quick line around the inside as well as it wide surpasses NSS for me. As I expected Morris and Lambert did well, Hagon was better than I though he'd be and Howarth as ever is all action.
-
It was much better if you were there.
-
duplicated for some reason
-
Maybe but Flint is also missing for Glasgow, so it's not just overseas riders affected.
-
Fair enough, was basing that on his 5 points from eight rides at Sheffield this season, whereas Morris has scored much better for Leicester.
-
Morris for Flint makes the Tigers stronger I think, as does Lambert for Hausl.
-
The new big screen will be good, hopefully we can get audio as well for the rider interviews.
-
Track was much better tonight, no dust and no bumps. Northampton ride like underdogs with no pressure and justified it being so close. I was particularly impressed with Thomson, not afraid to use the outside and deserved his point in ht15.

Not true, review his scores, both from team and individual meetings. He has started poorly though and is clearly not in tune with his bike yet, second meeting he's missed the two minutes whilst working on it. Two more engines this week and he needs to get them working, not just for speed but for gating. It happens, he'll get over it. I agree with others though, poor spectacle due to the very slick and dusty track.
