  1. Can't really compare though as they have so much more budget/disposable income.
  2. Shame, only rode there once but it seemed a nice little track.
  3. He could do with a partner presenter to engage those younger than 60.
  4. People like the feeling of power they have😆
  5. That could all be done in less than a day so is not much of a barrier.
  6. Big shoes to fill - the presentation can be the make or break for people turning up.
  7. I think you were responding to me - if you were then that wasn't what I said. I was responding to the debate around the league being weak that year. The comment on the play off final was only about the result and Scott beating Bewley. So your statement above is factually and certainly and definitely incorrect.😉
  8. I think the Peterborough guest only scored one and Andersen was injured withdrawn in his first ride, so a terrific Panthers performance.
  9. Your Aces team had Bewley and Kurtz, Brennan, both Worralls and Charles Wright I think - the play off final at the NSS and seeing Scott beat Bewley was great if you weren't an Aces fan 😁
  10. I don't remember it as a weak league year at all. Give them some credit, they rode really well as a team to win.
  11. I don't think it is. The most recent MA is used, that's clear. His most recent MA is from the Championship in 2025. If the most recent MA is one from both leagues, so for example with Chris Harris for this year, his championship average applies in the championship and his premiership average applies in the premiership. To me that's really clear.
  12. I don't see it that way at all. It doesn't matter which league the most recent established MA is in, that's the one which is used for the next time they ride, unless they had one in both leagues in the last season. I guess we'll find out. 😁
  13. No, I disagree. The most recently established MA is his championship one, so that's what will be used, or are you saying he didn't establish an average last season? Official figures are reported as 8.08 for 2025, it doesn't matter what league, unless he got one in both, which he didn't.
  14. But he's not returning to british speedway after a gap. Therefore using the above it seems his converted championship average would be used
  15. Think he lives near Norwich so Ipswich suits him down to the ground - unless there was significantly more money he'd not want to join BV.
  16. I'm not reading the same tea leaves obviously.
  17. There's actually quite a lot of riders who'll soon be hanging up their boots.
  18. Agreed. I'm also not sure how long Mayfield sports will be around.
  19. I don't think that's an issue - why rebel against not being paid by scoring less and thereby earning less when you do get paid. The fact he was riding at No.1 in 2024 and is now down to 5.89 suggests a rider on the downward to me rather then plenty in the tank. What he does have in his favour is that he's not a gating dullard.
