  1. That's very dangerous and should be investigated every time it happens.
  2. And there's one problem. It should be about the fans, not the riders. If they think it'll affect their earnings they may not be so resistant
  3. I quite liked Cardiff when it was tricky with a few bumps, to me that was also quality racing as there's a difference between those who can handle that, skill wise and mentally and those who can't was evident.
  4. This HBO max thing is sh!t show. I've subscribed and can watch TNT sports ok. The HBO max app on Sky took ages to load then all I get is a list of TV shows/films, so I gave up.
  5. Sorry for the dumb question but is that available on the HBO app on Sky or only on a mobile device?
  6. No doubt this would've been on, in the 80s, but not these days. "Can you come to play badminton/marbles/tiddlywinks this week?" "What night?" "Thursday." "Oh OK yeah, i used to have speedway that night but it's rarely on these days so I might as well."
  7. Influenced of course by the almost wholly right-wing media. Where's the headlines praising the Government for the massive reduction in immigration and small boats which has been achieved since 2024/5?? How about the progress with the NHS and reduced waiting lists?? No, all we get is Peter Mandleson stood in his pants - as if that had any real impact on people in the UK ๐Ÿ™„
  8. I quite like the suggestion of awarding one point each and not re-arrange, this would focus minds a bit. It would also mean fixture lists could stay as they are for the season. There would need to be exceptions for playoff meetings and cup meetings where that wouldn't deliver a victor and then if clubs have commitments for x number of meetings they could fill them with other events, like clubs used to hold. I'm not in Ipswich today so can't give the weather picture but it's currently sunny here in Stratford.
  9. That's showers for you! I'm about half a mile as the crow flies to foxhall.
  10. In other news it's dry and sunny here in Ipswich, windy too. Tomorrow looks a little wet, who knows if it was premature yet. Without regular speedway people just don't bother and drift off.
  11. Of course I will. Integrity matters to me, shame it doesn't apply to others.๐Ÿ˜‰ In that post on the Witches site, see who comes last in the consideration "an early decision has been taken to minimise any inconvenience to teams, riders and fans."๐Ÿ™„
  12. Normally dry in October, much better than the monsoon season in late May & June.
  13. Isn't he one of the backroom mob/silent partners at Northampton and would surely have been lobbying for the cancellation๐Ÿ˜
  14. I see Sheffield are strengthening for this one, could be close, although the forecast isn't great ๐Ÿ˜‰
  15. It was non-existent in Prague and no merchandise available other than for Czech speedway or Dudek.
  16. Don't they have to pay the FIM to stage the GP, a very tidy sum as well?
  17. It's gonna happen you know, Harris in 2027 GP, you read it here first ๐Ÿ˜‰
  18. Think he was top of the averages in 1980 so 81 must have been a bad year for the 21 year old๐Ÿ˜. He's my GOAT.
  19. What do you mean, "what a rift"?? In the 70s of course we had weekly meetings, much better in my view as it kept fans engaged and enabled relationships to be built with your team.
  20. Agree 100%. It will rain tonight, just a question of when, but yesterday was not the time to call it off. Forecasting can be more certain on the actual day
  21. I'd say just the same as last year so far.
  22. No, and he actually rode a lot better than he has been this season in the Premiership.
