  1. Thought the track rode very well considering the conditions. Anders Anderson gave the perfect performance. Glasgow were solid with the exception of Lemon, it’s sad to watch I wasn’t disappointed by Redcar, they are a poor side (Lawson apart) who shines like a beacon. There good home form.. wont last
  2. If we fancy it home win by about 20 points Stead walked to a 15 point maximum last season. Don't think he will have it so easy this time
  3. should be more competitive than poland vs russia, looking forward to it, well watching it on youtube over the weekend
  4. You know that feeling when your at a Speedway meeting and you can’t predict the winner until the last bend? That is the level of excitement you will experience on Saturday night. Coupled with the electric atmosphere created by the home straight ultras it will be a Speedway meeting you and I will never forget. Can’t wait for the Press release!!!
  5. odd signing him on 7.90 though, in my opinion. He's a slow starter usually, I'm sure he would do a sound job for say Rye House
  6. It's cheaper to run with a poor team, do these promoters just expect to put out any old mob and punters will pay regardless?
  7. Do you think, there will be a big crowd as it's a Cup meeting only? Progression after this round is highly unlikely Ideally I'll just pay at the gate
  8. I personally think you should re-read my message I rate Adam Roynon. I'm no Sportsman or a Speedway rider so I can't begin to understand how many SERIOUS injuries the guy has had. Roynon has an all action style similar to that of Lee Complin (a rider I'm sure you enjoyed watching) probably never going to be a No1 now but he's an exciting rider who can score points on most tracks
  9. So has Nicki Pederson does that mean he is a bad rider, you wouldn't sign him? Roynon in full flight is a sight to behold, Shocking gater but good points scorer on the road no reason why he couldn't score what Jensen is scoring from reserve. This wont happen, point being I rate Roynon sadly he has been on the receiving end of some bad luck. He was dropped very quickly by Workington in 2010 as well.
  10. It was going to be a tough ask for Adam to maintain that starting average especially being a No5. Hope Royno gets fixed up I'd happily take him at Berwick on 5.60 for Jensen, never been el natural at Berwick
  11. Newcastle have been riding of the crest of a wave since what 2009 or in Larsen's case 2008. Bach and Lemon were great signings to form a formidable trio with Kenni L. 2012 curtailed by injuries still Newcastle did better than us. 2013 another good solid season shame Ritchie Worrall didn't stick around. Sometimes you win with riders sometimes you lose. George English knows the Sport inside out I enjoy listening to his thoughts after meetings he seems to have a knack in getting the best out of his riders. I actually don't like to see Newcastle struggle 2004 being a prime example with Tomicek at No1. One change will suffice for Newcastle, they do need someone to head the team, it isn't Lindgren or Robson though.
  12. Glad it was off... I told it was a sell out when I tried to book tickets today
  13. Jade mudgway never had a problen passing riders of all numbers. Good riders as above always find a way
  14. How bigger crowd are we expecting.. should I book online.. or risk paying at the gate Supporting the lads in the modern era I guess
  15. I watched Doolan's scores once leaving Kings Lynn and managed to see him a few times since. Now bar an end of season run at Redcar where his scores were decent. Nothing since injury curtailed his 2010 suggests Kevin Doolan has performed to No1 standards. Kevin has never struck me as a tremendous trapper, and let's absoulutely frank about this gating IS imperative at Shielfield Maybe it's something in the air down at the Norfolk Arena Tomas Topinka struggled badly after leaving Doolan WILL score points in the middle order. Even in his first season with us I remember the night we were 5-1'd against Sheffield in Heat 15 Doolan wasn't far off double figuers. He really struggled at the start of that season but did come good I'm sure he will this year. Luckily I think Vissing will form some sort of spearhead Doolan's a decent bloke, good for team spirit, is he going to be an 8 point man or PLRC, no probably not but given "a few" of the donkeys we've employed I'm happy to see a professional bloke like Kevin at our club.
  16. As you told me scott its all a bit of fun. Chill out and cheer the lads on
  17. Brilliant press release Aye three bags full john ...
  18. I predict FTG FTG FTG FTG FTG FTG FTG FTG FTG FTG FTG FTG FTG FTG FTG Tight first bend, Henry leading, Bellego chasing hard. Henry makes a mistake Bellego swoops wide Henry blocks the Frenchman's advance After that spread out FTG Agree with that...
  19. Oooft good move if rides as he has been for Redcar.. flying
