  1. It seems whenever clubs report loses, they either spend over the following season or end up well placed. By the way who is the commercial manager for this season? Are we getting a big name signing there maybe?
  2. Our season was over in May so that gave Mr A and his band of specialist hitmen plenty of time to view other avenues? So to that end just what have they been doing?
  3. As long as the riders have a good time The fans get so drunk they forget what the score is Who really cares about the result, at Berwick Speedway everyone is a winner
  4. Surely we wouldn't look at the man mountain himself Michal Rajkowski? Lets do it, get Super Lee and Jade the blade swooping past the oppisistions reserve with relative ease around our world-renowned 4th bend. Get Pepe Franc in the middle order for a bit of stability he'll keep the home fans happy Then to lead the team... lets get Seb in cause he can beat nobodies by half a straight but still be a 7 point average. My ideal Bandits team for 2014 1. Sebastian Seven Point Alden 2. Michal Rajkowski 3. Josef Franc 4. Paul Clews 5. Lee Complin 6. Jade Mudgway 7. Alex Edberg IC crazy golf Team Manager Emilali - Enjoy!!!
  5. no a lot initally, had a bad crash early doors at armadale if i remember rightly
  6. Kauko Neimenen is a rider I've always liked. He's usually good for 2 or 3 race wins at Berwick. I think he would average higher Doolan, maybe wrong
  7. I was No5 for the Goldstone Goldrobbers back in the 2000 and 2001 season Did manage a 4 ride maximum against a 3 man East Ord team. Took the huff in Heat 15 because my team mate wouldn't give me gate one. Ever entertaining Emilali was swooping past the East Ord riders with ease, sadly he had to go home about 1930, for the Bill... My conversations with Emilali are limited these days, but since being made surplus to requirements at my home club, it's been hard to initate myself back into Society.
  8. Ian told me I wont be utilised by the Bandits, but wished me well in my Cycle Speedway career. Not sure what happened to Emilali? He was really keen to race for the club....
  9. Ref Nicholls He was about as much use at Berwick as I was at Cycle Speedway... Ref Bellego - He is probably the most naturally uncaptured talent the Bandits have had for a good while. At certain times last year he really was looking a cut above pre U21 Qualifier I'm sure Cieslak had praised him in the Polish press. Still has the inconsistant side in him. I query whether not having a spell at reserve may have helped David back in 2012. Hopefully in 2014 we can make Shielfield a bit more of a fortress. While picking up the usual 2 or 3 away wins.
  10. Absoulute tripe Somerset's top 3 are stronger doyle --- lawson no contest morris --- smith --- nick morris by a point Allen --- summers if allen stays fit hes a 9 point man summers is a steady 7
  11. Doolan, Vissing Wethers, Bellego Alden, carr and whatever we have spare
  12. To be honest, I think bringing in two unknown would be risky. Assuming Carr is in at reserve. Hmm intresting none the less
  13. Would Jamrog score more than Kozza Smith over the 2014 season? Hansen be any better than Seb Alden?
  14. Good signing for Redcar, that's for sure
  15. Strozyk I think would be a good asset. He was famous here for his hussling and bustling all action style stealing a march on the oppisition with every turn of the wheel. What a absoulutely horrendous signing he was....... catastrophic in my eyes
  16. We gave one to Tam Sike and our No1 bib to Gregorz Strozyk, so no probably not
  17. He hasn't rode since the back end of 2011
  18. I think extra seating would certainly be , "another feather in the cap"
  19. Well I am buying mine, the prospect of being told, "sorry we have run out" does not even bare contemplating. I have a feeling with our all-conquering team (at the moment) locals will steal a march and pack Shielfield to the rafters, full of passion cheering the lads on to victory with every turn of the wheel...
