  1. Berwick surely have to be one of the club who have gone to extra length to promote their clubproduct = feathers in the cap I feel supporting your club is more of a pick and choose your meetings as opposed to going every week religously. Would be interested to do a survey of Berwick fans who post here and see how many are regular or sporadic attenders... Good/Bad I think it shows change in a Speedway fans mentality.
  2. Ben Barker or Adrian Rymel Circa 2008, who would fair better leading the line in a few weeks time Feeling rather philosophical tonight.... Barker coming like a hurricane from the back Or Adrian Rymel rocketing to about 200 race wins from the gate Hmmm I shall debate this with myself for the rest of the evening
  3. artur czaja would spray his urine all over the pl, class act Czestochowa legend
  4. you will still be mince though battling with ourselves at the foot
  5. I would say Ben is an option for the WC team... Only Tai Woffinden is a given and you could probably add Harris because of his experience racing on the continent
  6. Go back a few years the Henning Bager statement was a right giggle.... Craig Cook will average higher in my opinion in a better team.
  7. A poor initial run of results... Berwick sign Grigorij Laguta to replace Claud Vissing Grigorij ends up with 9.87 average , he puts a previous rift with Ben Barker to one side to take Berwick from National League certainties to PL mid table definites. Club legend what a way to go out!
  8. roll on the new season, I've missed moaning!
  9. think Lawson will be 9.00 this season!
  10. Somerset would have been league champions had Jason Doyle not been refused PL entry 2 team joke league
  11. Claus Vissing's Polish team declared bankcrupt, chucked out of 2 liga Best track in the world, a sad say for myself and Claus He must have been looking forward to emulating Czestochowa's favourite No 11
  12. drinking women and football probably... Men's general topics of conversation
  13. PL is certainly the best league Britain has to offer
  14. There are a few varibles It would be good to get a plethora of opinion - Glasgow fans I bet can't wait for the season At Berwick we are looking forward to seeing Man-Mountain Ben Barker take to the track Do your team have new racesuits? track alterations... Is there a paticular meeting you are really looking forward too? Myself, I am looking forward to watching all Grigory Laguta's race for Unibax Torun now that he has gone to the biggest club in Poland Emil Sayftudinov the mercenary at his 4th club in as many seasons at Unia Leszno Lasse Bjerre at Redcar, how many matches will be miss? And seeing the red revoloution at Glasgow - I really hope they trolley the Monarchs however we shall see!
  15. People still talk of those 2 seasons Zenon Plech rode for the Bandits, what great seasons they were. Edinburgh might be winning everything running the league etc I wasn't there but Berwick fans still talk of those days when Zenon came out in Heat One with great fondness
  16. Newsletter generally confirms what we already know. It could be condensed into a couple of sentences Plus about 10-15 lines of BS
  17. Berwick may not be the best supported club in the league. We may not sell out our stadium for home meetings very often. Berwick do have a very loyal following, no matter how dire we are we have a core of fans who turn out week in week out.. Sooner the season starts the better for the club Generally when things are going well at Berwick you don't hear a thing.... hopefully recent events blow over and we have a smimlar season to last.
  18. Jason bunyan? would be a great signing, baffling why he hasn't been snapped up yet
  19. who cares, get on with the racing...hopefully a good one for the Bandits!
