Josh Pickering will be box office as always. Think Redcar will win by 8.

Ipswich v Sheffield Monday 10th June

Ref Emil bikes look cumbersome out of the start and he looks down on power compared to last year. This is being reflected in both UK and Poland. -

Shakes head!!. -
Sadly it is really showing. Bomber and Wright went backwards when trying to chase? On a different subject I see Erik Ross scoring rather well again. Really good to see him back to his best. Would love him at Redcar to give Wright a hand at the top end? I can dream....

Gate and go at Redcar these days, sad to see! Agree with everything else though. -

I genuinely thought Worrall was a really good signing for you. -
Scunthorpe are a good side at home. I was surprised by the guest choice but meh looks like it is going to be one of those seasons. Big match tomorrow for Redcar. It is winnable for sure and hopefully when Danny King gets back he can inject some more points scoring into the collective. This is depressing!

Pleased with Dan Gilkes, think he will be an improvement on Knudsen (which wouldn't be hard).

Not so sure I agree! I do think Connor Bailey will come good though and Edwards form is pleasing.

Redcar v Berwick - 10/5/2024, Cab Direct Championship

Very professional performance from Berwick's 1-7 tonight. Really enjoyable meeting as a neutral. Not sure what Knudsen was playing at in Heat 6? and Ben Barker pulling off a sublime block turning a potential 4-2/5-1 into a 3-3. Anyways... Well done Berwick! -
Redcar v Scunthorpe, 3/5/2024; Cab Direct Championship

As those have already said above it was really nice to see Erik back to his best tonight. Thankfully he kept the score respectable early doors before Wright came to the party later on. Sad no MPT in Heat 15 but the visitors had done the job by then. Bears look to me to be in trouble. Danny King would have probably netted 9-10 tops. Tougher teams to come starting with Berwick next week. Enjoyable night though! -

Will be a tight meeting as always at Redcar. Bears by 6 for me! -
Redcar v Workington, 12/ 4/2024 :- BSN Series.

This is a forum... I think... Anyway well done to Workington speedway firstly on the result. But also to your promotion who have unearthed two potential gems from obscurity. Redcar - Wright and Edwards apart meh! Good meeting well as always at Redcar. -
Berwick v Glasgow , BSN thingy , 6/4/24 @7pm

Was skeptical when Kerr was signed as the number one. What a performance tonight from him to beat Bomber 3/3 is very impressive. Furthermore things shaping up well for Berwick in a year which could yield some silverware. Not good news ref Complin always thought he came across well in interviews etc. -

Greatful to have a meeting to watch tonight. Scunthorpe look rather solid at home, weakened by Douglas moving on - Jake Allen impressed. As for Redcar - Charles Wright was superb and as Yearbyred alluded to above Edwards mixed it well. Otherwise didn't expect much from the rest even King who was woeful after Heat One. -
I hope Riss isn't, he wasn't half the rider he was for Redcar. Kerr would be a good signing just not as a No1 imo!
-
I'd go with Wright, King, Bailey, Hume, Mulford, Harrison, Edwards. Don't know if that would fit. Would think Leon will be back at Berwick.
-
Also Gracjzonek was averaging just under 9 pre off at Plymouth then replaced him with Sweetman who barely averaged six.

Think my first ever Speedway meeting was Berwick Vs Exeter 1999 and Bomber was at reserve. Fast forward 3 years I remember two stalks of Paul Bentley (no slouch), his team I think scored 28 points that night and he then finally caught 'Banger' in Heat 15 to stop his maximum. Then went on to pass Leigh Adams at Berwick the following season. He's had an excellent career for someone who doesn't trap terribly well. Hopefully he can keep on keeping on for a few more years. Halcyon moments like this week sadly don't usually last. Well done Glasgow and Bomber!

I would be surprised if Dickson comes here and offers all seven riders peanuts. Historically at Glasgow 2002-2013 Glasgow had a one number one every season and in some cases two. Even at Leicester he had Nicholls and then Nick Morris. Reckon Richie Worrall could come in. Wouldn't be my choice but he has history riding for SD. Probably would give Leon and Jye another season as well.
