  1. Alden was riding for Masarna and and Lejonen I'd imagine guys who double up are, or whom have Aspegren, Lindback, AJ, Edberg, MKarlsson, Eklof guys like that Like I say what I find fascinating with the Allvenskan is in the past employing guys like AJ Lindback Bogdanovs but Swedish 2nd tier Speedway isn't all that much better attended than British Speedway. I think its Gnistorna there was a meeting I was watching and they had a tin can for a main stand but in terms of what the camera could see it liked like about 20 folk were standing around the stadium. Even in the Elitserian at Vetlanda last year tracking THJ, Kolodzeij/Sayfutdinov Hampel, Zmarzlik and Woffinden generally on the same night. They don't seem to seem to get huge crowds either. That being said Poland and Sweden have had quite a few clubs drop out in recent times and Czestochowa's case didn't run this year at all. Price you pay for tracking a Speedway Legend in Grigorij Laguta 3x I digress... I think a 10 point win this weekend for the Bandits
  2. yes but Elitserian operates on a Tuesday and Allvenskan operates Thursday.... Yes the Swedes do
  3. they don't go because its rubbish I met a gorzow fan who went to Berwick once, he said it was that bad he would never go again Granted not all Polish meetings are packed or is the racing top notch but they are so passionate about there Speedway.
  4. Speedway will survive just at a lesser quality. As for the riders guys like Woffinden and Lambert will be laughing. Woffinden is top man in the World Poland and Sweden statistically speaking anyways... and Lambert has been signed in Poland already, not sure by whom but he's been picked up. Harris isn't required very often by Rybnik and Cook still hasn't raced an official meeting for a domestic club. Apart from the two mentioned above all the focus should be on the British leagues. Making sure these lads either have adequate fixtures or allow our GB riders to double up and down. I remember Dave Tatum moaning about Barker being refused to race for Stoke on a 8.04 average so couldn't race for both Stoke and Coventry simultaneously... Stoke brought Klaus Jakobsson in instead. Which in turn ruined Stoke's season and probably did Barker out of a good few bob. We need to look after our boys Oddly enough Edinburgh's top man has been doubling up on a 9-10pt average for 3-4 seasons now, funny how things always work out for the Monarchs
  5. Kennett is doing really well for Rye (even better than last) well into the 9's.... Like Stead I believe he works full time so fair play to him, makes you wonder what folk like Barker and Edberg are doing being full time riders... Knows his level maybe the Modern day Steve Lawson Yep no complaints Bunyan was awful, Edberg would have beaten him
  6. season is over, we wont surpass the greatness of brady Kurtz and Ritchie worrall
  7. nope it wont, I'll still follow the wonderful Sport that is Speedway
  8. Will Ben Barker walk again? Apolagies I knew he had gone to a Hospital closer to home which is great for him... But I didn't read a synopsis of his condition? It's a shame Barker wasn't squared away logistically because coupled with Vissing, that could have been a potent Top 2 for anyone So Seb Alden is the man to turn Berwick's fortunes? Bellego also been mentioned.... Neither name fills me with confidence that they will anything other than consistently inconsistent. Both of them have buggered off when it suited or a better offer came. I'm not sure why Berwick fans think erotic thoughts about Seb Alden, yeah he can beat 2nd strings by half a straight but so could 6-7 point man Lee Complin. We need race winners ideally I feel bringing new assets in is the right thing to do injuries can't be helped. I still think we'd have struggled for the playoffs with a full 7 and knocked out by the Rebels in the cup. If John decides to go again next year he will have Mattias and Nando on realistic averages which will help ten fold with team building. I'd really like to see Ritchie Worrall as a Bandit I think he's our type of rider and I think he will do the job Ben Barker failed to do.
  9. same reason he's got an out of this world gf.... She is stunning tbf
  10. Comments on Ben Barker would be interesting I recall I said a cert 9 point average someone posted a GB pick for 2015 all fun and games pre season
  11. Jorgensen has done well tbf Scott He's done the club proud Fair play to the guy if only other Danes we've had had the same dedication According to Speedway Updates today his average was 7.02 so theoretically I'm keeping that 50 quid
  12. How about Justin Sedgman Topsoil? you know if he can a few of those "cracking" meetings Coupled with Super Seb and David Bellego you know there's a winning formula right there! Richard Worrall for me I would suggest Your a funny guy
  13. vissing is a big miss tbf. barker dropping a 1.5 not good from the pov of guests
  14. Well at least you replied... And in your wisdom you admit a guy who hates the track is not in the same league as cook
  15. Justin Sedgman, cracking meeting around Berwick? please elaborate
  16. Were Edinburgh really that great? Ritchie Wozza replacing Masters? Wolbert less said about him the better Sedgman? class act round Berwick? Liam Carr Maybe were just pish just a thought
  17. Well Done Liam Carr, another feather in the cap for Big John
  18. ricky wells tbf seems to have stepped it up this year
  19. I don't think there will be much in it, monarchs weakened with Worrall in for masters... Generally when you presume a rider will go through the card they then generally tend not too ala Sean Wilson post breaking the track record... I think we can get about Cook and knock a few points of him....
  20. tungate is a good pl 2015 rider at best, not sure apart from tonight what the recent masturbation about him is
