  1. Behave! It intrigue's me bjcol, how you manage to get so.... aroused on a Sports forum?
  2. Not really a huge suprise Tommy, given the strength in depth of Leszno and Sayfutdinov really flying. The disparity between their top 2 and Woffinden/Janowski was clear to see. The other two semi finalists were never likely to do much: with the exception of Leon Madsen and Lindgren.
  3. Certainly not looking good for the football club. I wouldn't be suprised on their current trajectory - if they dropped out of the (LL).
  4. To be fair he is rarely negative, and contrary to opinion - always behind the lads. Not sure about his username 'bj' though!
  5. Bandits' boss Gary Flint said: "Again these guys battled so hard for what it means to be a Berwick Bandit, and just missed out on the win which they are all gutted about, but we have a final blast at Glasgow on Saturday and the Tigers had better watch out, we've got our hunting heads on!" Gary, Berwick just lost to the worst team in the league? Your team containing: a track expert, ex gp rider and two competent reserves. Not forgetting being knocked out by a 'mediocre' Newcastle side, who did a job on the club over 30 heats.
  6. Plenty life in ol' Col yet, he's only 71 apparently.
  7. Tomasz Gollob - Domestically he was nye on untouchable, pulled his nation out of the brown on numerous occasions, and you often wanted him to MISS the gate. Arguably should have won more world titles, and his Swedish form was 'patchy' to say the least, but will go down as one of the greats. An honourable mention goes to Mr Leigh Adams. A tremendous servant to Unia Leszno, and his myriad of British employers. Like Gollob, should have won more at GP level, but domestically pristine over his legendary career.
  8. I'm not sure the comment about an, "Arab rucksack" was a particularly good choice of simile. Found it rather distasteful.
  9. Class act, succeeded the great Tomasz Gollob at Bydgoszcz, and did a very credible job of it. Masterful around Purfleet in 2008? Thankfully came back in 2015, for two seasons and showed his class. He's aged very well: I suspect he won't struggle post racing. Good luck Andreas Jonsson
  10. Well his Polish campaign is over with Pila and there is no 2nd tier in Sweden this year. So, maybe he is chomping at the bit to get extra meetings in: putting himself in the shop window for 2020? ---------------------- Pila I presume must have their finances now in order? Oddly this has come after relegation from tier two (2018), and failure to make the tier three playoffs (19). P.S - I hope Thomas has put his passport in a safe place, and has a working alarm clock?
  11. Very good signing, certainly at one point was close to the top riders in the world.
  12. Bit harsh to say he is 'just rubbish', probably found his level in the PL. Be interesting to see where he goes for 2020.
  13. Big miss if not riding: Based on his 9.51 (2019 average). That being said I'm sure if there is a scintilla of hope, he will make himself fit.
  14. Reckon Adam Ellis will get a few, Garrity and Aarnio could trouble the Bandits. Furthermore I do entrust Jason, will find his way to Armadale.
  15. Big digression here but what the chances of Daugavpils keeping Andrzej Lebedev for 2020? Didn't work out for him in Wroclaw but an average of 9 plus again may alert the Ekstraliga? Possible return for Maksim Bogdanovs? Had read about Grigorij Laguta possibly returning but surely not?
  16. When was the last double header run at Berwick? I remember 2004 against Reading and Hull: The latter only ran until Heat 12 if memory serves me correct?
  17. Looks like Redcar will kick on into the playoffs now, especially with their top three clicking.
  18. At least Bjcol has taken a sabbatical; Which is very nice for one and all.
