  1. Well his Polish campaign is over with Pila and there is no 2nd tier in Sweden this year. So, maybe he is chomping at the bit to get extra meetings in: putting himself in the shop window for 2020? ---------------------- Pila I presume must have their finances now in order? Oddly this has come after relegation from tier two (2018), and failure to make the tier three playoffs (19). P.S - I hope Thomas has put his passport in a safe place, and has a working alarm clock?
  2. Very good signing, certainly at one point was close to the top riders in the world.
  3. Bit harsh to say he is 'just rubbish', probably found his level in the PL. Be interesting to see where he goes for 2020.
  4. Big miss if not riding: Based on his 9.51 (2019 average). That being said I'm sure if there is a scintilla of hope, he will make himself fit.
  5. Reckon Adam Ellis will get a few, Garrity and Aarnio could trouble the Bandits. Furthermore I do entrust Jason, will find his way to Armadale.
  6. Big digression here but what the chances of Daugavpils keeping Andrzej Lebedev for 2020? Didn't work out for him in Wroclaw but an average of 9 plus again may alert the Ekstraliga? Possible return for Maksim Bogdanovs? Had read about Grigorij Laguta possibly returning but surely not?
  7. When was the last double header run at Berwick? I remember 2004 against Reading and Hull: The latter only ran until Heat 12 if memory serves me correct?
  8. Looks like Redcar will kick on into the playoffs now, especially with their top three clicking.
  9. At least Bjcol has taken a sabbatical; Which is very nice for one and all.
  10. Genuinely, if I wasn't working Saturday evening Redcar on paper looks good. There is fair chance: I would have considered going. Was 'very' close to going against Peterborough a year or two ago. Until I learned both Harris and Holder were not going to be there. Not Berwick's fault but that situation was symbolic of the peril the Sport finds itself in today. Furthermore to add a bit of context I attended Berwick Speedway (in the main) between 99-2014. Granted not a paying adult until 2004 but would have hoped my contributions assisted the club in some way.
  11. Surely with a tasty meeting coming up Saturday. A more open minded approach would be more beneficial to entice old/new fans to return? Or, are you unable to make that vital connection. Rather finding it appropriate to 'as a supporter' offer to fight people and generally being inhospitable to others? Conclusion - Not much going on up top!
  12. Still love it 20 years on brother. Granted not at Berwick but still enjoy following Speedway across the globe.
  13. I believe this meeting is due to take place in just over 24 hours. I thought you would be all for democracy and free speech etc?
  14. I think it is important to distinguish between fans and hooligans.
  15. Didn't Schlien say he is retiring at the end of the season anyway?
  16. Absolutely agree and did a very good job for them.
  17. I am perplexed as to where Nick Morris's big demands came from? A 6 point season for Swindon in 2016 and two 8.3ish season's with Somerset and Glasgow respectively? Clearly the club were not all that blown away with Morris because they went with Bridger in the first instance. The former kept himself on a nice tidy average for Lakeside though so fair play to him. Fast forward to the future Morris can't be averaging anymore than 5 for Wolverhampton at the moment. Maybe now would be an opportunity to bring Morris in, surely he can't be as demanding currently?
