  1. Lee Richardson scored 20 in one GP, thats an assessed total of 180 over the season ! While I like NKI, I cant see him really threatening the top 8 or even top 10 after the half way stage and should enjoy his ONE season in the Series. ODDS ON THE WOODEN SPOON (fictional) 5/1 Richardson 4/1 Lindback 2/1 Protasiewicz 6/4 Iversen 5/4 Zagar Peter Karlsson, Rune Holta, Hans Andersen, Mark Loram, David Norris ETC all have better claims to the GP series than he does. Think Zagar will finish bottom near to Iversen. Cant believe you have actually sided with a British rider actually
  2. If every rider gets through the season pain free, it will be clear to see how well the three new boys will do. Tony Rickardsson, Jason Crump, Nicki Pedersen, Greg Hancock and Leigh Adams are well above them and will no doubt all be in the top 8 again. Bjarne Pedersen, Andreas Jonsson, Scott Nicholls, Tomasz Gollob, Jaroslaw Hampel and Antonio Lindback will fight for the other three places and which ever doesnt make it will be nominated for 2007 anyway. Thats the TOP 11 sorted, leaving Richardson, Protasiewicz, Zagar and Iversen as also rans and the most likley to be left out for 2007. possible betting for 2007 2/1 Tony Rickardsson 9/4 Jason Crump 3/1 Nicki Pedersen 5/1 Leigh Adams 6/1 Greg Hancock 8/1 Andreas Jonsson 10/1 Scott Nicholls 10/1 Bjarne Pedersen 12/1 Tomasz Gollob 12/1 Jaroslaw Hampel 20/1 Antonio Lindback 25/1 Lee Richardson 33/1 Piotr Protasiewicz 50/1 Neils K Iversen 50/1 Matej Zagar
  3. Vintage Speedway Think this is the link you may be after ?
  4. YES THERE IS, keep looking in the Speedway Star or look on e-bay
  5. Will he still be at Sheffield by March ? If Andre is riding then the first prize will be £5,000 The other £10,000 is danger money for the rest of the field.
  6. Jason Crump will surely ride in it along with Simon Stead from Belle Vue and Fredrik Lindgren and Peter Karlsson from Wolverhampton. Mark Loram, Gary Havelock and Andy Smith are all ex team mates from Bradford and Ricky Ashworth and Ben Wilson would surely get a ride aswell as Sean himself. Thats 10 riders, 6 to go ? You should know that Chris Neath cant ride Sheffield well due to Medical reasons, so a point in such a meeting for Neathy would be a good return.
  7. HANS ANDERSEN At the Banks's Olympique at Monmore Green last week, I spoke to Hans in the interval about 2006, he kept pretty quiet about his team plans, only stating he lives next to East of England Showground with a wry smile. When talking about the GP's he said that he hasnt heard a word about next season but obviously wants to ride in the competition, but if he is out, then he will just have to accept it and try and get back in 2007. However, if he is left out, it appears that he will be requiring a written explanation from the FIM as to his none selection being a former GP winner and as a rider finished lower than him in 2005 has been reinstated. It appears that Hans will accept any descision and admits that its just hard luck if he is left out, but would just like some communication as to why he has been left out and why others were given nominations. He could of cousre be given a nomination and I for one hope he does as he is a young, hard rider who can add more to the series than certain others being talked about. ANDERSEN HOLTA KARLSSON if form is anything to go on.
  8. Well Done Jesper B It may not be the strongest line up, but you still have to beat them to win it. Jesper B Jensen 5.98 - could be a bargain for anyone next season
  9. Maybe Oxford will sign him up(Pavlic). . . squad number 20
  10. Mikael Max will be the one out then, cant see him riding till at least June, maybe later.
  11. Riders now have team race suits, and this does make them look smart and even the mechanics (at Wolves) anyway all wear Wolves grey and black shirts with the riders name on. However it gets me the way they look when they arrive at the track. Oald jeans, T Shirt, Trainers, Baseball hat and sponsors jacket. When Wolves lifted the 2002 title, all riders had to wear matching tops and jackets and walk the track together. Was this just a coincedence that we acted as a team, looked like a team and rode like a team. If riders are wearing matching race suits, surely it can be arranged for them to wear matching shirts and jackets aswell.
  12. Why should he when he can still give anyone a good race, he enjoys racing and thousands still love to see the maestro at work. Long Live the King
  13. Add the name of SAM ERMOLENKO to this squad !
  14. Fredrik Lindgren is likley to be lining up in Poland next season. David Howe is also likley to join eitheir Rawicz or Rzeszow (instead of Max)
  15. Why not just hang Lee Richardson over the side and people will chip in for your ticket fee ! SELL-OUT - Sadly not, the best or closest they have come to a sell out was this years GP when only 20,000 tickets were un sold. Coming from someone that displays an Exeter avatar, I dont think it will clash with any Falcoln fixtures .. . . .at all !
  16. I remember that party aswell, but only JC got to ride all of them !
  17. 3. K. Kasprzak - Unia Leszno 4. T. Gollob - ŻSSA Unia Tarnów (likely will miss the meeting) 14. G. Walasek - Złomrex Włókniarz Częstochowa 15. R. Kościecha - Lotos Gdańsk Hope Poole arent riding as this could effect this line up or more likley Poole's Craven Shield campaign.
  18. Well Done to Josh Auty on winning the title that was rightfuly his to win. Ben Taylor deserves second place as only Josh has been the better of him all season. JOE HAINES; Well Done Joe its great to see you up there and still have another two years to win it ! Weird how they put the four strongest riders in heat 20 isnt it. Hope to see you back at Wolves soon mate, you have my number. I will call you soon.
  19. See below I dont know who told you, but your right. KP Nuts as I refer to him told me a week ago when Wolves were riding against Oxford. He is getting a new engine sorted out and bring his top 2005 Polish bike to England in 2006. He has held talks with CVS regarding next season alrerady.
  20. Sam always looks good and dont think you have seen the last of him yet !
  21. With Josh Auty ruled out through injury, Ben Taylor should be favourite. Hope that JOE HAINES can win this though. Great talent and prospect for the future. GOOD LUCK JOE Remember your always welcome at the Green.
  22. bold are better, others same standard or deserve a chance more than Lee. Jaroslaw Hampel Hans Andersen Peter Karlsson Mikael Max Rune Holta Piotr Protasiewicz Scott Nicholls Krzysztof Kasprzak Kenneth Bjerre Fredrik Lindgren Mark Loram Billy Hamill Matej Zagar Janusz Kolodiej Neils K Iversen Charlie Gjedde So let Scott Nicholls go in and give Loram or Stead a season if we have to have 2. Yes, he did well in those two didnt he ! Polish GP, wasnt that where he just scrapped into the Semi-Finals and ended up runner up. This would be a bit like Eastbourne losing heat 30 in the play-off final this year. A BRITISH rider. . . . Scott Nicholls. . job done Peter Karlsson, Mikael Max, Fredrik Lindgren, Hans Andersen, Piotr Protasiewicz, Charlie Gjedde, Neils K Iversen etc all missing from your list, all should be somewhere above 15..Lukas Dryml Which GP will this be in, dont wont to miss the one round he does well in !
  23. It looks like there will be qualifiers in 2005 for the 2006 series so these nominations will be cut down or lost. My world rankings list would be, (2006 GP riders) Rickardsson Crump NPedersen Adams Gollob Nicholls Jonsson Hampel Hancock BPedersen Karlsson Andersen Lindback Holta Max Loram Protasiewicz Kasprzak Richardson Norris Lindgren Bjerre Iversen Sullivan Stead Kylmakorpi Zagar
