  8. Bit busy this weekend to update due to decorating, but will post as soon as possible and give predicted scores for round 4 Those that picked Hancock, Gollob and Hampel should have done well.

  10. PRAGUE PREDICTED SCORES #1 Tomasz Gollob 9 #2 Jaroslaw Hampel 8 #3 Jason Crump or Zetterstrom 6 #4 Rune Holta 6 #5 Greg Hancock 8 #6 Chris Harris 5 #7 Kenneth Bjerre 6 #8 Chris Holder 8 #9 Andreas Jonsson 5 #10 Nicki Pedersen 9 #11 Fredrik Lindgren 7 #12 Emil Sayfutdinov 9 #13 Artem Laguta 1 #14 Antonio Lindback 4 #15 Janusz Kolodziej 7 #16 Wild Card 3 NOTE; If Jason Crump misses the Prague round, his replacement (Zorro) takes his score.
  11. Keep your pedictions coming, but remember not to post or edit after the SKY start time.
  12. Magnus Zetterstrom is next in line in the GP rankings, so he would take Crumpy's place. Any replacement during a meeting by a reserve does NOT count towards that riders score
  13. Although its rare to have a GP finish after 16 heats, I have given you more of a chance to actually get some points in the next GP in Prague. Pick any 4 from the following PRAGUE PREDICTED SCORES #1 Tomasz Gollob 9 #2 Jaroslaw Hampel 8 #3 Jason Crump 6 #4 Rune Holta 6 #5 Greg Hancock 8 #6 Chris Harris 5 #7 Kenneth Bjerre 6 #8 Chris Holder 8 #9 Andreas Jonsson 5 #10 Nicki Pedersen 9 #11 Fredrik Lindgren 7 #12 Emil Sayfutdinov 9 #13 Artem Laguta 1 #14 Antonio Lindback 4 #15 Janusz Kolodziej 7 #16 Wild Card 3 NOTE; If Jason Crump misses the Prague round, his replacement takes his score.
  14. noggin is the new leader after the rain affected Gothenburg GP as everyone else scored minus points as he (or she) selected Chris Holder, Greg Hancock, Fredrik Lindgren and the Wild Card to score FIVE points and take a one point lead over refereerick who had a decent score of minus two as he also selected THJ as one of his picks. Pensilva luckily never selected for this GP and moves up to third after scoring nothing !! 15. I was stating that there are new young riders coming to the scene now and at just 25 years of age, I consider Freddiue to be one of those and even you cant question his talent in the sport. Ok, he has yet to win a GP, but has come close a few times and true his scores in this country are considerably better than abroad, but I (along with many many more) believe he will be one of the front runners in the not too distant future.
  16. Shame about the weather deciding events in this GP as it looked like it was going to be close in the Semi's as Greg, Noddy, Emil and Gollob were all starting to look possible winners along with Lindback who looked like a different rider to the first round. Here we are in the dawning of a new era of riders that can dominate the world of speedway with the likes of Holder, Emil, Lindgren and Ward .... yet joint leaders after 2 rounds are the Over 40's of Hancock and Gollob on 24 points. 24 - HANCOCK, GOLLOB 22 - Sayfutdinov 21 - Pedersen 19 - Holder 17 - Lindgren 17 - Hampel 17 - Kolodiej 12 - Bjerre 11 - Jonsson 11 - Crump 11 - Harris 10 - Holta 10 - Lindback 2 - Laguta

  19. NOTE; Any posts or edits after 6pm (Sky coverage time) on the day of the GP will make those selections invalid.

  21. Can Mods make this one a sticky please insteas of last years game ?
  22. Think I may be changing the usual format this year and working in the morning, so will get to Cardiff around 2pm Never really bothered about the entertainment, think the MX Red Bull Free stylers would be best option.
  23. Remember to post your 4 selections well in advance. Anyone that edits their post after the start of the Sky coverage starts will get 0 points, I will post my 4 selections closer to the date .... want to go for Emil, Freddie, Artem and AJ ... but not convinced !!

  25. Its a shame the track never had a bit more of a solid dirt to get more grip. A clay based sand type material knitted in would have made it much more grippy and held the water, but overall the meeting became quite good after a while. Good to see Freddie in the running and finally letting the bike do the work instead of cutting back in and losing ground. He looked far more relaxed and at ease on the track but I couldn't understand why both he and Jarek chose Gate 3 when 1 and 2 were getting the results. Nice in some ways to see Nicki back in the running, but wasn't he a bit lucky !! ... Had Janusz Kolodiej not gone hair brained at Hampel, Nicki wouldn't have even been in the semi finals and up to the final Nicki had won just one race. ... Also weird to see them celebrate Nicki winning the first GP of the season and then show the leaderboard with Gollob leading ! ... Think 10 points should be awarded in the final to the winner, 5, 3 and 1 for the other three. They say how Crumpy started well and faded, well his score says that, but when you look at it in depth, was he really on the pace at all ? ... The riders lining up at 13-16 were Crump, Balinski, Lindback and Laguta, so between them they had to score 6 points. Balinski picked up a point when Goolob was excluded and Crumpy managed to get a second place when he blocked the line of Holder. ... Otherwise these four were not really on the pace and scored just 10 points between them in 17 heats !! At least going into the next round, only 11 points seperates the top 11 and you would expect much better next time from AJ and Crumpy .... This looks like being a cracking series and lets hope the tracks are made to let riders find varied racing lines. PS; Predictor game now available .... click the link in my signature.
