Didn't Madsen turn down the chance to be in the GP's too ? Vaculik will add some entertainment and certainly be good enough to challenge for a semi final place. ..... As for Bartosz, when I first heard he was in with a chance of being in the meeting I was pleased and at just 17 I hope he just enjoys the atmosphere and get a few points. ...... he will certainly be back in a few years time to replace Gollob.

Hampel scores 0 points Had he been replaced before the meeting by a rider, then his replacements points would have counted ..... As he started the GP, he scores zero. Due to holiday and new work schedule, I will update the scores this week and post predictions for the next GP

As of 13th June, Adrian Meidzinski's average will be 8.47. Until that date, surely any replacement would have to be a rider with an average no higher than his previous average of 5.57 ...... therefore is it not the case that AM needs to ride (or R/R) on Wednesday as any redeclaring of the 1-7 would have to be done in advance ? ........ so any signing (redeclared 1-7) on or after Wednesday would be upto 8.47 Shamek is a quality rider and surely a future GP star like Ward and a good replacement for AM ....... who is now unlikely to be seen again over here due to his new high average ........ so Swindon are left with an asset no one really wants to buy or loan !!!

Changes I would like to see are ...... TOP TEN QUALIFY = With the riders in the series now, the top ten are all riders capable of winning a GP and should be in the series. GP CHALLENE = Top 3 Qualify ....... However the top 2 from the 20 heats go through with the next four in a run off for the last place ONLY 2 NOMINATED RIDERS = There are not that many riders around that are as ood as the current top ten and if they are, they may have qualified any way. ...... At present I would say Darcy Ward is a definate should he not qualify and these nominations can also be used if a top rider misses meetings through injury. ...... World U21 Champion worth consideration POINTS IN SEMI-FINAL = Have to agree that the top 8 in each meeting deserve a small bonus for reaching the ko stage ..... but I would go for 3 - 2 - 1 - 1 in the Semi Finals ...... 0 if excluded or fail to finish.

The GP Qualifier may come too early for Tai who is out for 4 weeks and the meeting is 3 weeks away ..... this may be Tai's taret for a comeback as he wants to qualify and not have to gamble Tai ....... 7+ 8+ and lookin like 9+ in the last three years ..... he was a 7+ teenager last time and in the last two years has improved big time while Bomber has slipped to a 7+ rider and favourite for the GP Wooden Spoon ..... Yes Tai is that much better

Next year the only British rider in the Grand Prix will be Tai Woffinden ....... unless someone qualifies through the GP Challenge

After his first ride I was suprised Steady scored points as he was clearly upset about Lee Richardson and not only had a black armband but also wrote R.I.P RICO X on his race jacket. ..... To actually score what he did deserves credit PS; Had to laugh at Stead v Proctor races ...... looked like Jedward (twins) going around the track ...... if they had matching bikes, kevlars and helmets it would be hard to tell them apart.

Mathias Thornblom maybe ? ) MATEJ KUS and ANDERS MELLGREN are possible targets to double up In the programme a few weeks ago it was said that former Wolves favourite, Krzysztof Pecyna will also be appearing Ricky Wells, Pontus Aspgren and a host of young riders are likely to complete the line up ..... will Tai be included again or is he too good as he has won it for the last few years ?
