PLEASE NOTE; .... You need to predict a score for ALL 16 riders ...... You need to predict the scores for the riders I listed only ..... so if Darcy Ward does replace Troy Batchelor, you stillhave to predict the score for Batchelor (not Ward) ...... remember, that if a rider is replaced, you sore what his replacement scores. ..... so Madsen and Batrchelor are in the list (not Jensen and Ward) Good Luck ...... think this could be a meeting that goes to the last heat.

If there was to be changes I would rather it was something like .... The World Team Cup (4 riders and 1 sub) to be held every other year Then in the other year, there is the WORLD CUP where each country is represented by 8 rider teams (6 + 2 reserves) using the much tied and tested old International Format over 18 heats If it was to be held in England say ..... you would have 12 countries in four groups of 3 Groups 1 and 3 ride on Monday, Wednesday and Friday .... Groups 2 and 4 ride on the Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday Winners of Group 1 and Group 3 race off on the Monday .... Group 2 ad 4 winners on the Wednesday ..... The final to be held on the Saturday .... (or best of 3 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 3 different tracks) Sweden, Poland, Denmark, Russia, Australia, England, Germany, and Czech Republic would be joined by the 4 qualifiers, possibly from Italy, USA, Slovenia, Slovakia, Latvia, Finland, Scotland, Ukraine, Croatia etc
-
So we now know the four countries set to race in the final of the 2012 Speedway World Team Cup Final ....... and we now know the EIGHT managers that will be in the FINAL PREDICTION First through to the final is ROBBIE B who top scored in the race off predictor with 12 points after picking a strong quartet of MJJ, Buczkowski, Iversen and Pedersen. Next through with a score of 10 points is REFEREERICK who despite selecting Pepe, he also selected Woffinden, MJJ and Pedersen. FUDGE with 8 points makes it through in third place, just ahead of RACERS AND ROYALS on 7 points. .... After just squeezing into the race off, PANDORUM makes it to the final after scoring 4 points and then we have the final three qualifiers who all scored 3 points who are HILLY, SUPERSTAR1 and SCREM Just missing out are ....... CJ69 2pts, SPOOK 2 pts and NOGGIN 2 pts who were well clear of the bottom five of SAMTHEPALACEMAN -1, SKITTLE FACE -1, DIDDY -2, HOMER -3 and last but ot least BOMBER HAMMER who scored -7 after putting his faith in Iversen, Janowski, A Dryml and Scott Nicholls. DENMARK; MJJ 4, Iversen 3, Pedersen 2, Madsen -3 POLAND; Buczkowski 3, Gollob 3, Janowski -2, Pepe -2 TEAM GB; Woffinden 6, Bomber -1, King -3, Nicholls -6 CZECH; Franc 9, L Dryml 0, Kus -2, A Dryml -2 So the 8 remaining predictors now have the final hurdle and its a massive hurdle to clear if they are going to lift the title Here are the 16 riders likely to line up in the World Team Cup Final on Saturday night .... SWEDEN Andreas Jonsson Fredrik Lindgren Tomas H Jonasson Peter Ljung RUSSIA Emil Sayfutdinov Grigory Laguta Artem Laguta Roman Povazhny AUSTRALIA Jason Crump Chris Holder Davey Watt Troy Batchelor DENMARK Nicki Pedersen Neils K Iversen Michael Jepsen Jensen Leon Madsen All you have to do now is ......... predict what each rider will score If you predict Chris Holder will score 13 points but he actually scores 10, you get 3 points If you think there will be changes to these line ups (Darcy Ward / Troy Batchelor ..... Leon Madsen / Kenneth Bjerre), you still predict the score for the rider listed. ..... So if you think Darcy will ride and score 12, you have to predict Troy will get 12 The one with the lowest total at the end will be ...... CHAMPION !!! NOTE; All posts MUST be made by 6pm on Saturday ...... no editing or posting after this time GOOD LUCK
-
Still need selections from ..... Hilly refereerick homer Diddy samthepalaceman Fudge Racers and Royals Will post the 8 finalists after tonights meeting and the predictions for the final .... that have a twist !!!

The scores for Artem Laguta +1 point and Roman Povazhny -1 point will be doe later ..... When I give the leaderboard after Event 2, I will also post the predicted scores for riders in the race off and final ...... these must be posted before the Sky coverage on Thursday night (6pm) Remember only the Top 16 qualify for the final part of the game and All finalists will start on 0 points as Events 1 and 2 are purely Qualifiers for the race off and final. LAST 16; After tonights event, the Top 16 will go forward to the race off ....... The top 8 after the race off will go through to the final where there is a twist !!! (note... if 16th or 8th place is tied, all those level will go through, so the last 16 could see 17+ in the race off.)
-
I have put Artem Laguta down as scoring 6 and Roman Povazhny down as scoring 7 ....... these were the wrong way around, so those that selected Artem will gain a point ..... those that selected Roman will lose a point good news for me any way !! Yes thats the rules ....... Glad your happy as Travis McGowan is first reserve

Speedway World Cup 2012
T.N.T. replied to mdmc82's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
To be honest, England could track Vaculik and Zmarzlik but wont get near the Aussies .... Tai, Bomber and Scotty are on the same level as Davey Watt but Crumpy and the Deadly duo are a few notches higher. ..... barring any falls or engine failures I can see Australia hitting 50 points in Event 2 .... Team GB at least 10 above the Czechs and Germany lucky to hit double figures. Australia 52 .... Team GB 39 .... Czechs 24 .... Germany 9 -
Speedway World Cup 2012
T.N.T. replied to mdmc82's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Tomasz Gollob has said in a Press Release after the meeting that he feels Poland should have qualified tonight for a number of reasons ..... 1 - They were on home advantage 2 - They never used a tactical ride / sub He also commented on the selection of Grzegorz Walasek who only managed 2 points all night and felt they should have selected a rider that would have scored better on a Polish track and then replaced by Kasprzak for the race off / final ....... So he feels they would have been better with ..... Lukasz Sowka -
NOTE; Anyone that had JANUSZ KOLODIEJ as a selection scored 1 points as PEPE PROTASIEWICZ took his place and predicted score GAVAN; In event 2 you have selected DARCY WARD .... If he doesnt ride his replacement takes his place in your team ... not Holder NOTE; No previous posts can be edited and selections made for Event 2 can NOT be changed SCORES FROM EVENT ONE RUSSIA; 4 = Emil Sayfutdinov -3 = Grigory Laguta 1 = Atrem Laguta 5 = Roman Povazhny POLAND; 1 = Tomasz Gollob -6 = Grzegorz Walasek 1 = Pepe Protasiewicz / Janusz Kolodiej 3 = Maciej Janowski USA; 4 = Greg Hancock -4 = Billy Hamill -2 = Ryan Fisher 1 = Ricky Wells DENMARK; -1 = Neils K Iversen -1 = Leon Madsen 0 = Michael J Jensen 2 = Mikkel B Jensen LEADERBOARD ........ so far ! ...... only Top 16 go through to the race off and final !! 12 ... noggin 12 ... Speedway World Cup 2012
T.N.T. replied to mdmc82's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Firstly ....... The tactical ride / sub ride has to be changed in a few ways A team should be EIGHT points behind when they use the joker A team should be allowed to make either a TAC SUB or a TAC RIDE ..... but not at the same time. .... They can use both in a meeting but using two different riders. That off my chest, thought Russia could push for 2nd tonight, but thought Poland would still win .... had it not been for the TAC SUB/RIDE used by Emil, Poland would have won by a point over Denmark with Russia 3rd on 32. ...... (bang went my£10 four fold bet @ 10/1 ) Its a shame Germany were not in this one instead of USA as now Czech or Germany will be last in the race off where as USA would have deserved an extra meeting and made it a better line up Denmark have to bring in Nicki Pedersen now, sadly for Mikkel B Jensen and leave them with their best four riders at present ..... Poland have to bring in Kasprzak for Walasek and both teams will fight it out for the last place in the final with Sweden, Russia and Australia. .... sorry Brits but I cant see anything but a distant 3rd in Mallila. -
This years top 8 should be (in any order) 01 - Greg Hancock 02 - Chris Holder 03 - Jason Crump 04 - Nicki Pedersen 05 - Tomasz Gollob 06 - Fredrik Lindgren 07 - Emil Sayfutdinov 08 - Andreas Jonsson Wild Cards (almost certain) 09 - Jarek Hampel ........ due to injuries in 2012 10 - Darcy Ward ............ no brainer 11 - Tai Woffinden ........ The only Brit that can be selected GP Challenge Qualifiers 12 - 13 - 14 - Final Wild Card Nomination 15 - Martin Vaculik .............. If he fails to qualify For me its pretty obvious who is going to fill 12 of the 15 places, its now sit back and see who qualifies ...... should Vaculik qualify from the GP Challenge then it would be a suprise to see the rider finishing 4th from the GPC going through also Wouldn't mind Madsen, MJJ or Watt qualifying, but can see Kasprzak, Iversen and Lindback being spoilers Either way, this wouldn't be too far off the top 15 riders

How Good Is Zmarzlik?
T.N.T. replied to stratton's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
That would be great All we have to do now is find someone that owns a track, lets them practice whenever they want (free of charge), be dedicated and professional, be guided by experts (not family members or friends), take free time to help promote their sponsors, realise they are always learning and not think they are the new Rickardsson after a few wins etc etc When we do that ..... it could happen (if they are not in Magaluf for a drinking holiday) -
PLEASE NOTE; ...... Only the top 16 will feature in the Play-Offs and Final So once the 2 rounds have been completed, I will post a list of the finalists and new predictions for the riders set to compete in the following rounds. ..... so you will have to be quick and post if you make it through.

SHEFFIELD (July 5): Tai Woffinden, Lewis Bridger, Ben Barker, Olly Allen, Simon Stead, Ricky Ashworth, Richard Lawson, Lee Complin, Andrew Tully, Richard Hall, James Wright, Chris Schramm, Derek Sneddon, Adam Roynon, Carl Wilkinson, Kyle Howarth. RYE HOUSE (July 7): Edward Kennett, Chris Harris, Scott Nicholls, Danny King, Stuart Robson, David Howe, Robert Mear, Josh Auty, Craig Cook, Leigh Lanham, Jordan Frampton, Chris Mills, Simon Lambert, Ritchie Hawkins, Luke Bowen, Jason Bunyan Richie Worrall Reserves: Kyle Newman, Is it 7 go through from each semi and then two Wild Card nominations ? If it is 7 each, then those are the 7 I think will get through although Lee Complin and Andrew Tully could be in with an outside chance at Owlerton ...... Craig Cook, Richie Worrall and Robert Mear at Rye House. Can see at least 1 Wild Card being the rider who finishes 8th at Rye -
Hoping tactical rides pay off ! 12 Emil Sayfutdinov, 9 Grigory Laguta, 12 Greg Hancock (captain), 6 Billy Hamill, ======================== 5 Martin Smolinski (captain), 6 Josef Franc, 6 Matej Kus. 10 Tai Woffinden,

The Speedway World Team Cup is nearly upon us as the GP Series takes a short break. To make it a bit more interesting, I have decided to set up this JUST FOR FUN competition. Each rider has a predicted score next to his name for the qualifying rounds. You must select any 4 riders from each meeting who you feel will do better than the score I have given them. If a rider is given a predicted score of 11 and they score 15, you score 4 points You will then have to try and qualify for the next round with only the Top 16 making it through to the next round where you pick a fresh four riders for the race off and Final ad its then a straight run for the title So here are your predicted scores for the first rounds ...... pick your 4 riders from EACH meeting. 2012 FIM MONSTER ENERGY SPEEDWAY WORLD CUP TEAMS: EVENT ONE, BYDGOSZCZ (Poland), JULY 7: Referee: Jim Lawrence (Great Britain) RUSSIA (RED): 28 12 Emil Sayfutdinov, 9 Grigory Laguta, 5 Artem Laguta, 2 Roman Povazhny (captain). UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (WHITE): 24 12 Greg Hancock (captain), 6 Billy Hamill, 4 Ryan Fisher, 2 Ricky Wells. Team Manager: Richard Child. DENMARK (YELLOW): 33 11 Niels-Kristian Iversen (captain), 9 Leon Madsen, 8 Michael Jepsen Jensen, 5 Mikkel B Jensen. Team Manager: Anders Secher. EVENT TWO, KING’S LYNN (Great Britain), JULY 9: Referee: Marek Wojaczek (Poland) GERMANY (RED): 12 5 Martin Smolinski (captain), 4 Kevin Wolbert, 1 Max Dilger, 2 Tobias Kroner. Make your selections

T.N.T. replied to T.N.T.'s topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Rules are rules ,,,,,,,,, however As you may have posted at 6.00pm but it came on at 6.01pm then I could go three ways ..... but others get a say to be fair. The first proposal to get 3 votes listed below will be the verdict of the jury PROPOSAL 1 ......... One minute isn't too bad, let it stand (this time) PROPOSAL 2 .......... As you did post late (even by one minute), you WILL score the points gained or lost by the riders ..... but you will NOT get the 10 points for posting PROPOSAL 3 ........... TOUGH ..... You had over a week to post and you leave it to the last seconds .... NIL POINTS !! First to get 3 votes wins Personally I think proposal 2 sounds best -
