  1. Ah well, will have to get Darcy in then. Tomas did teach him everything he knows after all.
  2. Is Bohumil Brhel still riding? Or has he packed it in now? I seem to recall he had a bad injury a few years back.
  3. Forthcoming? It's been and gone, Greyhoundp.
  4. Nice list, Great Central. One thing, though. You missed out Pascal Swart.
  5. Liam Rumsey signs leaving just 1 to go
  6. Leicester have a few guys coming back from big injuries, but despite that, I like the look of them. Blackbird under-performed for them this year - he's a much better rider than his average shows. I expect them to be up there. You could say the same about Newcastle with the Worralls and King (I assume) coming back from big injuries. Reckon they'll be up there aswell. I think they are 2 teams who will get stronger as the season progresses. Somerset and Scunthorpe both look strong aswell and will be up there challenging for the play-off spots. Edinburgh look very good at the moment, too. They are the pick of the bunch for me. Workington won't be far behind either.
  7. Risager will add more than a point. He's going to be challenging Barker to be number 1. Apparently.
  8. Difference between not having anyone and not having them announced, young Vog! For me, Dudley look awesome. They will take some serious stopping. They are the standouts to me, no doubt. IOW have pretty much all of their eggs in one basket, but I'm pretty sure it will work out for them and definitely expect them to be in the top 3. King's Lynn look pretty solid so far. Can see increases for Hazelden and Kerr. Definite possible contenders depending on the final signings. Coventry look good as well. Will be great having them in the NL. Mildenhall are always strong. Stoke have an interesting side. Really hard to predict. All-in-all, it looks like being a very competitive league next year, which has to be good news for all teams.
  9. Jacob is also the best Speedway commentator I have ever heard. Liking the lack of semi-final gate picks. It's harsh on the riders but it spices things up a bit. Many times having the best riders on the night on the best gates just makes the semi-finals bit of a procession. Bad for the riders, good for the spectators. On paper, anyway.
  10. In a Dudley PR last month, it was mentioned that Dudley had no intention of selling Perry, which led me to believe he was one of their assets.
  11. I'd suspect his PL team will be announced sometime next week.
  12. He signed as an Eastbourne asset in September.
  13. I'll give it a try! I spoke with Rhys (Naylor). I got the wrong end of the stick. Apologies.
  14. 'Light year' is a measurement of distance, not time.
  15. To be fair, North is always moaning. If it wasn't about that, it'd be about something else!
  16. I hear Joe Jacobs has got himself a place <somewhere> for next year. Could he be the one that is Redcar bound? It would fit into the "promising youngster" that Havelock snr mentions....
  17. I wouldn't say that. But I will say that I thought it was KKS on another one of his missions until I saw a semi-naked man as an avatar!
  18. It's already been annouced that Nielsen will be #1, Adz. So think you can rule out option #1. I thought of Branford earlier aswell actually. Would be a strong 2nd heat leader for sure. Branford at 5, would also mean that there'd be a little bit more scope at number 7 for Danny Stoneman, perhaps? Think the issue with Jacobs is that it will be a wait & see to see who he signs for in the PL. There's still a few Sunday clubs waiting to complete their sides. If he ends up signing for a Sunday club, I think we can rule him out.
  19. Looks a good side. Hard to know how good until the other line-ups are known but am expecting them to be in the mix at least. Looking forward to seeing the King's Lynn Robins in action in 2013!
  20. He averaged 7.76 from the NL meetings he did complete this year.
  21. Nielsen, Baseby, Bates & Stoneman so far from what I can tell. Think that comes to 21.90, so 18.10 for the final 3 places.
