I was out for a bit this evening, so missed the first 11 heats or so. Can anyone summarise the meeting so far please? Ta muchly!

I can't remember exactly when it was, but he was suffering from some electrical issues towards the end of the meeting, which took a bit of time to get sorted.

King's Lynn is always grippy - at EL level at least. It may not always look that way though, that's what often catches riders out. A very disappointing start to the SKY season. I honestly can not recall seeing a worse EL match on TV. I'm sure there have been some. Right? You know it's bad when the Pearson-Tatum comedy duo provides the highlights of the night!

He just went into the first bend a little too hot and clipped Birkinshaw's back wheel causing them both to go down heavily.

I think the wet stuff may have a part to play in that

Got a video of a match against Crudley in '89. Löfqvist was definitely riding. Allan Johansen scored 15(!) against Jan O and Gundersen. I think it was about a week before Gundersen's crash so definitely his last meeting at KL.

I think Garrity was "ill" when Rye had to go there again later in the year.

I don't think they have a lot to worry about there. By the time FIM get around to it, they'll both be retired.

There's nothing wrong with the Belle Vue track at all. In fact, I'd say it was better prepared in 2014 than King's Lynn was.

That's bit of a headscratcher! I simply can not fathom the logic behind that one.
