  1. No, he didn't. I was right by the pits' fence too, and the 2 riders were merely having an animated discussion/disagreement (but nothing major at that point) until Lunna's mental mechanic launched himself onto Morris, and from then on, it got a little out of hand!
  2. Why wasn't Bjerre in heat 15? Would've thought with his win in heat 14, he'd be the 'in form' rider
  3. I fully expect Somerset to win this one, but Ipswich have been very competitive on the road this year. I think apart the Sheffield match where they should have taken a point in reality, they have picked up something from every away track apart from Armadale over the last 3 months.
  4. I've watched it 3 times and I really can't see that! Looks like he maintains a consistent speed. I think he priobably just wanted to get back to the pits as soon as possible to see if he get back on his other bike that was a bit tangled up from the heat 10 crash. Thanks to Broadsider for the uploads - I actually missed the incident at the time.
  5. A GM engine doesn't have to cost £5500! You can buy a new one for half that amount.
  6. Never a truer word spoken. If nothing else, last night showed the exact reasons why a promoter should never be allowed to be 'micman'. Why on earth it has been allowed to happen for so long, I'll never know. His squeal like a pig was appalling, he never should be allowed to entice the crowd in the manner he did either, nor should he be allowed to attempt to influence the referee's decision. As for his behaviour in the pits, words truly fail me!
  7. Greenwood looked bit better with every passing ride last week, not a bad choice given the limited options.
  8. Richie Worrall and Dan Greenwood on Thursday
  9. Definitely him. He's got a bike coming over after U21s in Italy
  10. I didn't think it was near as bad as some people are making out. Some people expect too much! I assume Edberg's EF in heat 2 was terminal? He was poor (only caught it from heat 3 onwards). I thought he was woeful at Ipswich earlier in the year, but seemed even worse round his home track! Got to give Liam Carr a run out if Edberg doesn't pick up soon. Surely?! As for Jörgensen and Lambert, it seemed like Lambert thought he could do some grasstracking ala Peterborough! He quickly found out that wasn't the case!
  11. Or Chris Louis' reactions when he realises how much he has to pay!
  12. A few weeks ago this looked like a very solid choice, as both sides looked to be battling it out for the final PO spot along with Swindon. Over the last few weeks, Belle Vue have cemented their place as the likely 4th place side, which leaves us with a number of 'dead-rubber' meetings towards the end of the season. Lakeside are very good (usually!) at Belle Vue, so this may be closer than expected, especially as the weather looks like it could be a leveller
  13. A former GP winner = useless at Speedway?! I really think you need to stay off the drink, Mr. S1!
  14. The worst of the stuff narrowly missed the east coast around lunch time. Shouldn't need to worry about an umbrella tonight...
  15. He's passed numerous times before, it's not because he's unable to do so. At the moment, he's down on confidence by the looks of things - either within himself or his machinery. It happens to everyone at some point. It's rather sad to see, as he can be brilliant on his day
  16. I prefer to look at it 'half-full'. If King's Lynn can get Bjerre back anywhere remotely close to his best, they will be incredibly difficult to stop. A lot of classy riders have struggled in the tough HL positions this year. Bjerre is just one of many.
  17. I think I was probably watching a different meeting to you in that case
