  1. Reckon if Coventry hadn't thrown so many points away, they could have won this one.
  2. They need to start on charging him for all of these tapes he's breaking
  3. Stefan was due to guest at Lakeside on Friday before being called up to go to Germany, so imagine the reserves have their own special rules!
  4. Interestingly, Vatcher and Ford both tried to book the same guest - Vatcher got in there quickest, so on this occasion you're wrong.
  5. That's not the GB team from what I've been told - think Lambert is still injured
  6. Michelsen had 2 non finishers. Was thrown off his bike in the titanic scrap with Bech thanks to the huge hole on first bend. An interesting race where Michelsen first had to avoid the Russian then the 2 Danes were throwing bikes at each other. Not for the faint hearted! In his final ride his chain went at the start. The times he finished Michelsen looked quick. Just wasn't his day
  7. He's injured at the moment, resting for the weekend, but should be fit again next week.
  8. Must admit to being surprised more has not been said about some of the passing moves by Poole riders, especially after the way that Cook got roundly booed last year! The moves were largely identical. Overall not a bad meeting at all. Poole track has it's critics but thought the track rode pretty well last night. You can normally get a decent meeting when there's bit of an inside and outside line. Belle Vue were as good as Poole in second half of the meeting but effectively lost the tie in the first 4 heats, which I personally put down to misjudgement of track conditions.
  9. Swindon could probably make it merely by picking up a number of 'losing points'
  10. But they still have Bjerre! I would expect KL to get the double over Leicester. It may be squeaky bum time when it comes to home matches against Swindon and Coventry though. 2 losses there and it looks bleak for them, but if they win those matches, then I think it may be Belle Vue who lose out.
  11. 6 or 7 points against Leicester this week for King's Lynn, and they look a lot safer
  12. 2nd round of U21s, which slightly limits the guest options, I'd imagine.
  13. Won't be much of a choice. Assuming Rohan is still banned then (not sure), it will be 4 guests, R/R + Cameron Heeps/Ashley Morris.
  14. Going to be a tough night for Ipswich with several riders having been caught in traffic
  15. I think much depends on Swindon's away form. They have some really tough away matches. Unless one of the others trip up somewhere along the line, they are going to need an away win at one of the 'big' sides, I think. Assuming all of the teams win their remaining home matches only they will finish on: King's Lynn: 51 Belle Vue: 49 Swindon: 45 Remaining fixtures: KL (H): Leicester X2, Coventry, Swindon KL (A): Leicester, Swindon, Poole BV (H) Lakeside, Swindon, Wolverhampton, Leicester BV (A): Poole, Wolves Swindon (H): Coventry, King's Lynn, Leicester Swindon (A): Wolves, Belle Vue, Poole, Coventry, King's Lynn, Coventry.
  16. The Twitter feed is generally good, and keeps people up to date quite quickly usually.
  17. The timing is generally pretty sluggish, but match reports (and similar) are not of a high standard either, and often have various typos. Sending best wishes to 'Kewis' for example is really, really poor, in my opinion. It only takes 2 minutes to proofread. Hardly a time consuming task.
  18. The danger with RR on a night like tonight is that you can't predict how some people will be feeling. Kaiser Kevin is a surprising choice, but presumably the options are limited due to some people not feeling up to it aswell as it being quite late in the day to get to Manchester on time.
