  1. Not sure that is certain. It definitely looks like Watt will be one of the reserves, but he could be joined by pretty much anyone. Ellis' maximum last week means he's far from certain to stay down at reserve - assuming of course I read the rulebook correctly.
  2. Friday's planned 4TT meeting has been postponed.
  3. I think Castagna will be more of a slow burner. Currently, he's a little too cautious, and probably needs to be a bit more attacking on the track and with the set-ups. Am sure it will come, just will likely require patience.
  4. I would have thought both teams would be desperate to get it on. King's Lynn because of Iversen and Belle Vue because they need to get some competitive racing under their belt
  5. One would presume that Peterborough would be moved into the Southern group if no hero can be found in Devon? Ipswich is geographically more 'southern' but would imagine moving a side who have yet to have a meeting would be easier.
  6. Not even the riders knew, so would have thought it was unlikely. Rotten news for everyone involved. What an absolutely dreadful week for British Speedway
  7. Apparently Wilkinson has a small 'brake'( ) to the collarbone, but is planning on riding Thursday
  8. Morris appears to be named @ 2 for the meeting, so I guess he's not riding at Somerset? From Facebook: Betard Sparta Wrocław 1. Tai Woffinden, 2. Nick Morris, 3. Szymon Woźniak, 4. Tomasz Jędrzejak, 5. Maciej Janowski, 6. Maksym Drabik, 7. Damian Dróżdż, 8. Adrian Gała MANAGER: Piotr Baron
  9. The different coloured kevlars almost look like green and yellow from a distance.
  10. Rules on concussion have also been changed. There are different rules for 3 different agegroups now.
  11. Aren't Swindon already riding that night? Puzzling!
  12. Is the legendary Tommy Stange returning?!
  13. With averages being released more frequently, I think it's worth the risk of seeing what the averages are like when Batchelor does return. With several riders returning from injury, the first set of averages may provide more scope for changes. I'm sure Iversen wouldn't mind doing some extra meetings at the start of season before it gets busy on the continent.
  14. Foxhall slick? Tungate would love it if he was, but it wasn't much to his dismay, and at times he was rather vocal about it, too!
  15. Tungate is one of those frustrating riders; when he's good, he's very good. When he's bad, he can be incredibly frustrating. He had a couple of pitiful away showings last season @ Sheffield and Glasgow from memory. Did seem to get some good engines under him towards the end of last season, so think his home form will be okay once dialled in, he may well be a mixed bag away from home though. Can be prone to a strop or 12, so he and Rosco will either get on perfectly, or there will be fireworks!
  16. The Reserves' list is now on SpeedwayGB site.... better late than never I guess!
  17. Bjerre's (sorry Baggy!) form was actually good on the continent from what I recall; I don't think it was his form that was the issue.
  18. If they're adding riders to the Draft list now, they might as well re-do the whole draft
  19. That Speedway fans question the competence of referees?
  20. The PR from Buxton did suggest he has better machinery than last time around. On a 3.50 average, he's definitely worth the risk
  21. Full list is on SpeedwayGB site via the silly twitter feed thingy
