Hiya Paul P, this is Paul T, i can vouch for Paul who is a genuine guy, and i have no doubts he is as dissapointed as me with this alleged hooligan type behaviour, however it is not ALL one sided, I would love to know who these guys are, where were they when we needed them to attend meetings to try and get us back On track, I know paul P was there as were several others, but the ones who shout the Odds and do bugger all, they are not nor ever will be true Heathen fans, they are the type who hang on to Coat tails and come along for the glory, if we were to lose a few matches <heaven forbid> and be around the bottom of the League, then you wouldnt see them. Any way good luck to everyone for the rest of the season. That is my final word on this meeting, and subject. -

My final word "Hopefully" I have not been to any of this seasons meetings against Buxton nor many others either, due to work and geographical location also. Last season, I WAS at Monmore for The Buxton meetings, I was at ALL the Buxton meetings including the rained off one, YES we are a rowdy lot, and i will never criticise our fans for that, YES our fans are passionate about OUR Team, YES JG is a great prospect, i have always bigged him up on here, and on the Heathens forum, Jayne the Buxton promoter came on here and publicly criticised OUR Fans for upsetting some young children fans, then in another later post she said to another poster would that poster if he/she had any sway, would he/she sort out these fans, I take it "Jayne" has made it known to Nigel Pearson the Heathens Chairman. Right Last season, i never once saw ANY trouble at ANY of the meetings, except for some rowdiness and yes some cheers when riders fell off, but this was mostly good natured, JG gives as good as he gets, especially when he has won a race,he enjoys coming round on his parade lap to take the cheers & boos especially at Monmore, and giving as good as he gets. Last Year after the KO Cup meeting AT Buxton after the meeting, who was the young guy who came round on the back of riders bike, and gave the 2 fingered signs to Heathens fans ?? so it is NOT just Heathens fans,so yes to quote Dan "Stop telling lies about us, and we will stop telling the truth about you" and YES,the start Marshall has got previous, and i to would like to see this DVD. That is only three truths from just 1 Heathens fan,i am sure there are many more, but just how many LIES are coming out, and why is it only now something has been said about last season, so DONT lets see this being portrayed as ALL one sided. Some guys whom i know personally have come on here for the first time, i have not spoken to them about this, but if they say there WAS problems at the start gate with the Marshall, then i believe them. -
Hope this meeting goes ahead, but i can only see a Potters win, The Colts badly missed Kyle last week, win for Stoke by 6.

Yep agree with all those comments, but regards Isherwood, how far does the term recently stretch back to ? 2/3 seasons Chuffed to see how well Jamie is riding for you, cant be long before he starts picking up 1 or 2 rides in the PL, i think the move away fron St Boniface arena has progressed Jamie,s career + it cant help when you have to travel some 4+ hours for home meetings.

21st, I always like to read your balanced comments on these situations, what we must try to remember when we how shall i say "abuse" opposing riders, the NL primarily has "Boys" riding and not men, and IF spectators do "Bully" Young opposing supporters then it has to be stamped out, Yes Speedway is a hard Sport where riders risk life and limb for our benefit, and Yes opposing Teams should realise Heathens fans are not as Sir alec Ferguson says "Prawn Sandwich" brigade, but there is a line...which must be drawn.. -

To have waited so long to make your first post you must be feeling very strongly Brindlew, but welcome to the forum, 21st i know you are probably trying to bring this back to the RACING, but this sort of accusation/actions must be nipped in the bud, after all Jayne is the Buxton promoter, we came back last season with lots of goodwill, slowly but surely we are losing some of that, its NO good trying to sweep these actions by a Minority under the carpet, Nigel must bring this to the fore, in the media, and make it known in NO uncertain terms in the media, that this type of behavior is totally unacceptable. -

I am a little concerned by whats reportedly happened over this past week, there does seem to be a minority amongst the Heathens fans who seem to take things a little beyond what is acceptable, and i would hope the more sensible amongst us would have a word in their ear, Only a little point i know but when Shane Hazeldon won a heat at Monmore on Tuesday he came round to take the Plaudits of fans, a Youngish Heathens Fan, she had 2 kids with her, blatantly looked away, showed the Thumbs down and Booed, maybe i am getting old, but i was applauding the young guys efforts, bcuz mainly because of him, we were entertained to a very good meeting. I dont go to see all this FTG stuff. If what Jayne says is true, and i have no doubts that it wouldnt be, then Heathens fans need to curb their enthusiasm, and others need to put them in their place, i hope responsible Heathens fans would be first to do this, we have a reputation gained over many years past, we dont wish to lose it, plz remember at some time in the future we may well need these supporters support with any future planning application, and accusations like this will do none of us any good. -

Hope you didnt mind me using your twitter feed steve, but it was to much to type up, and it was all happening at the end. Yes well done to the guys again, seems they ALL chipped in once again, away wins will be hard to come by this season, so to take another three points is GOOD enough, hope Kyle has a good un up at Newcastle, stay safe mate, we need you here. -

Seems he was disqualified for delaying the start, this after some pushing and shoving between the Start Marshall and Ash, i have been to Buxton many times, and to me the Start line guy has a big opinion of himself, but then again,i am biased, pity he doesnt admit he is also . -

It was Luke Priest who hit the safety fence, but he was up and Ok walked back to the pits, One race to go, Heathens winning by four, Buxton nee d a 5-1 to draw, The Heathens need a 5-1 to take all four points, i predict a 3-3 in the last. -

After Ht 9, The Heathens are winning by 8 points, there was a long delay for fence repairs, and there is some rain around.Buxton 26 Heathens 34 after 10 heats. -
I was mightily impressed with Richards score, i have been one of the first to criticise him, probably because he has not shown the progress others, notably Lee and Tom last season, and Ash so far this season, our Top Six have all now shown they are capable of notching double figure scores, and Young Danny only has to score his average, which he needs to believe he is capable of doing reguarly and we will have one heck of a season to look forward to. However we must acknowledge The Colts loss of Kyle Howarth was a insurmountable hurdle for the Colts to overcome, as i read somewhere RR only scored 2 points, its on the night that counts and even with Kyle i think we would still have won on the night, though the scores would obviously have been much closer. 21st you say you wernt there, 79 has already commented on Richard at BV, well i will comment on Darryl at Monmore The one heat he won in fastest of the night, i cant remember who he was in with but first lap i think we all thought Darryl would do well to hold on, but each lap he pulled further and further away to record fastest of the night, in his other win in with Ash we thought Ash would cover him, but again lap after lap he pulled away, until Ash had E/F on bends 3/4 last lap, and boy i can assure you had he not scored those points NO way would we have won on Tuesday, he is one heck of a prospect, nothing fussy, nice smooth style, seems to have an old head on young shoulders, already this season he has shown good progress as you are aware, pity you missed out on Tuesday you will have to ask him for a replay against The IOW.

Haha, they have updated it now,it was showing the PL League table.

http://www.speedwaygb.co/nltable11.html Wow, some terrific new teams in the NL this year, I would have thought bearing in mind who Dudleys Chairman is and his links to the BSPA, he would make sure at least this was right, have a word with Andy P Nigel.

THE Heathens 49 Hawks 41. Well at one time it looked like i was going to get egg on my face as Hawks were winning 35 - 26, and despite the scoreline The Heathens took 4 x 5-1s in the last five heats; Hackney rode very well aptly led by young Shane Hazeldon, who was backed up by Barrie Evans and Ben Morley, in fact had it not been for falls when well placed by Shane and Barrie twice when in scoring positions the Hawks would have come away with at least 1 point which they deserved, although it was balanced out somewhat with EF by Ash when 2nd. For the Heathens Armo had what i would describe as an off night, Tom and Ash were not there usual self, Richard plugged away, and Danny looked on the pace, Stars of the night were Kyle and Darryl, Kyle some would say did what was expected from him, but MOM was young Darryl who scored 11 points inc a fastest of the night win, this i think is a sign of things to come from young Darryl who is showing Style, potential and may i say a maturity beyond his years, well done to ALL the riders and Thanks to The Hawks for putting up an excellent showing.

Yes,i agree with ur comments 21st with regards Daryll, however Shane Hazeldene has been banging in the points for the Hawks, so tonight wont be easy either.
