  1. Its to be hoped that they know when the AGM is then.
  2. Needs to knuckle down, and concentrate on his on Track activities.
  3. You more than likely have the best reserve pairing in the League, Tom will do a solid scoring job in the NL as he always has done, he definately wont be your No1, I'm expecting Zach to take on that role, Kirby has said he is taking a year out. I'm thinking Brum will have a good top and bottom end, and to that end The Judge will be looking to sign 3 middle order riders on an average that will mean two of them can drop to reserve occasionally, and the other can fill in as the 3rd heat leader.
  4. Yeah Toms a good NL rider and value for money, and having been discarded by Cradley twice in three seasons Im sure its good for his moral to feel wanted.
  5. The Dogs will continue, especially the Bags meetings as its income for Stadia UK, so long as they continue then the Tracks are safe, the time to worry will be if/when the Greyhounds stop running until such time as the new track/s are up and running. Personally i would say its more a case of believe it when you see it with this company.
  6. My understanding is, Monmore only want Speedway on 1 night per week.
  7. Yes this is the same guy, and the same company under a different guise these days, and the history of Bristol, Milton Keynes, Reading does not bode well for Swindon, I don't understand why PP has not already been granted, they have had long enough to sort it out by now, or is it that Stadia UK have become expert at engineering delays, just so that the houses are built first and there is NO need then to provide a Stadium so they can then demolish a ramshackle Stadium that could well be a Health & Safety risk by that time, and Clark Osborne, Bill Glass and there merry band of asset strippers can have an increased pension pot by then.
  8. I n I didn't realise we had gone away, only that we were for sale.
  9. Harlow Greyhound Stadium may well be interested in staging Speedway racing, but the likeliehood is that its much to close to Rye House.
  10. The Wolves management need to do something drastic and quick, otherwise the fans will be voting with their feet, i realise the last 2 x 60 point Ommerings were away from home, but dearie me they should be doing better than this. The new 3 year contract with Monmore may be better spent in the PL if the present situation continues with being unable to Track a competitive EL Team.
  11. Mate i dont care that you dont care, Im happy that Brum are doing well, an old mate of mine is Brian Buck, as you know its hard playing second fiddle to near neighbours, i said at the start of the season Top three would come from Mildenhall, Birmingham and Cradley injuries permitting, i wasnt to far out with that, i have said on other social media pages Jack Smith would be a decent addition to Brums seven, but it really looks like you dont need him.
  12. Did i say there was anything wrong with it ? with regards R/R Brum were happy to use it with Zach at reserve oh and the mystery injury to Harvie when Brum rode at Kent again while Zach was at reserve, Drury has always been cute when it comes to the NL rule book. Josh Bates opted NOT to ride full time NL this year, Im sure there were Teams that would have been only to happy to have signed him.
  13. See Brum and Eastbourne are not letting the Grass grow under their feet when it comes to quickly finding replacements for injured riders, there USED to be another Team that held the mantle of winning at ALL costs, seems we have been overtaken not only in the League Table, but in the win at ALL cost stakes as well, however well done to The Brummies and Eastbourne, it makes a change watching which Team will come out on Top.
  14. So putting it another way; he had a fall, 2 x last places (3rds), beat his Team mate (1st season rider), and a genuine 3rd place (beating the Rye House No8), which breaking it down to hard facts totals 5 points which can be, and is very misleading taken at face value. However Danno is a nice kid, perhaps to nice to be a Speedway rider.
  15. I note Danno Verge scored 5, but looking at updates more than half of them were gifted, he seems to have gone backwards from a not very high standard to begin with, Kent have nothing to lose by giving other riders a chance at reserve.
  16. I take your point but I don't accept it, No1 can be covered by a guest, Ellis/Clegg etc etc, but there is a vast difference in Nathan Greaves rides being taken by (Luke Harris) in no way are they of comparable ability at this moment in time. Those who say it's only 1 defeat it's actually 3 meetings that we have lost now, and without Nathan we will continue to struggle, Yes I am a Cradley fan but I'm also a realist, as for making changes to the Team if there was a rider available who could cover Nathan yes sign him, as for other changes I really don't see the point in signing like for like.
  17. Mdmc82, im unsure if your comment was tongue in cheek, Cradley had their second heat leader missing so had to rely on rr, then to suggest having both No6s out cancelled each other out is total bull*hit, as Brums No6 has barely scored a point all season, whereas Mikey has a 5+ av and would likely have taken 2 rr rides, so it was comparable to losing not 2 but 2+ riders. Well done Brum on a good win which has just about ended Cradleys League title hopes.
  18. From what i saw of Jack Smith in his only completed ride, he gated well and was well on the pace, then he had an horrendous looking fall, once he has settled to the Kent track i think you will be pleasantly surprised, however due to the weakness of other riders he wont be long at reserve.
  19. So I take it that you enjoy losing ? we dont need an excuse mate as its rare we get beaten, I realise you are biased as you have a connection to a rider who Cradley fans had reason to dislike. Harris for Greaves might make them stronger, well Luke will have to improve 100% on what he has shown in League meetings so far this season. Winners will come from Group A, Coventry to just win.
  20. Jack Smith, looks like he will soon outscore your present tailenders from what i saw of his first ride, and once he gets used to Kents Central Park Track, definately should have been an all four back when Jack was nudged by Perks, not the only decision referee Allan got wrong on the night, Ht 13 Shanes got up for 2nd. Danno Verge was very dissapointing when one considers its his 2nd season of NL racing, he was slow from the gate, and slow around track, either his bikes are to slow, or its just that Danno is not up to it.
  21. To all you guys that keep knocking Kelsey Dugard Kelsey Dugard, just check his average and compare with all the other No7s http://www.speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/nl15_issue_8.pdf By my reckoning there are only two reserves with higher averages than Kelsey, they are Cradleys Mike Neale, and your own Georgie Wood, so to be ranked 3rd out of 20 aint bad, some people should be careful what they wish for.
  22. jeez, i sometimes wonder do the BSPA exist to help Speedway or hinder Speedway.
  23. Okay lets give it a go, I have seen Eastbourne twice at Perry Barr, seen Matty Bates at Monmore, Plymouth, and PB, seen DM at Kent, Monmore and PB, seen Mark Owen at Monmore and PB, the first two are far and away different riders home and away, Marks home and away form is not so different, BWD home and away rider, Georgie home and away, and Kelsey at this moment is far better at home. So far all Eastbournes riders have ridden well at home, no weak links. Cradley this season, Max, Matt, Arron, Mike have ridden well home and away, Nathan is not riding at his best for Cradley, Ellis is being hampered by a long standing knee injury, which needs an operation, and Luke has struggled in the main Team. I have never been to Arlington, so i only read and hear what i know of it, which like Monmore for a lot of teams they struggle to find the best ways round the Track, so i think the Eagles will win this in what will undoutably be Cradleys toughest test of the season so far, none of the Cradley riders will be found out for lack of effort, what may be there undoing is Track knowledge, and that will be Eastbournes strongest asset, so Eastbourne should win, as for the scoreline, well that is anyones guess, Im hoping but its no more than a hope we may sneak a point.
  24. I must admit i am at a loss, with regards the criticism of Kelsey Dugard, he is 16 in his first season of NL racing and is averaging well above 3 points per meeting, in a lot of the other Teams Cradley included he would have been in the main Team with his average. Just what do people expect ?? this is the NL which is a learning League, to gain experience on and off Track, any newcomer attaining above a 3 point average in his first season is doing well. This is NOT the EL or PL where newcomers have an assesed average and supporters usually expect them to score above that, I have seen Kelsey twice this season at Perry Barr and imo Kelsey is doing just fine, and anyone who thinks otherwise is living in cloud cuckoo land. Right to the meeting on Wednesday as a neutral: Birmingham well led by the NLs Top rider the unbeaten Adam Ellis, he was superbly backed up by Zach wotsisname, and skipper Tom Perry who found BWD just to fast for him, but otherwise had the beating of Eagles riders, Alex Wilson i would persevere with him on the pace, and i can see there is a rider there, now to the two big problems for Birmingham Adan Kirby i have been supportive of Adam in the past, however i will say it as i see it, this is Adams 3rd season of NL racing he is NO better now than he was 3 years ago, he still has his falls, he still has his EFs and so therefore he still only scores 3/4 points per meeting, he should in this seasons watered down NL be scoring more than that, he needs to take a long hard look at himself and his equipment, and now to Harvie Banks in one heat which Zach Wotsisname won, i looked across at where Harvie was as Zach crossed the finish line, he was HALF a lap behind, YES half a lap that equates to around 7 seconds, now its pretty obvious Harvie is not 7 seconds worse, its a matter of confidence and equipment, and for his own sake he needs to be rested bcuz right now he doesnt look likely to score a point unless its gifted. Eastbourne they were superbly led by BWD, who found Adam Ellis just to fast to get by him, but otherwise he had the beating of Brums riders, Mark Owen i felt was a little dissapointing, didnt look comfortable around Perry Barr, and i expected double figures from him, David Mason i didnt expect much from him, and thats what we got, Matty Bates again he was dissapointing i expected more, Kelsey Dugard did what was expected of him, always on the pace despite taking a very heavy fall in i think his first race, then Georgie Wood what a good find by Eastbourne, always in the thick of the action loves the wide lines, and never gives up. A entertaining nights racing, around Heat 9/10 i thought Eastbourne were going to nick it, but The Brummies fought back and took a 5 point lead for the second leg, it wont be enough but with a change or two down the lower order though where they will come from i dont know, maybe they could have a look at the local Grass Track or even more so at the Moto Cross area, that seems to be where the Worralls, Williamson, Wood and a few others have graduated from recently, they will be around abouts come the end of season.
