  1. This could be an interesting meeting, and for any Brum supporters thinking of going, i say go its my favourite away Track, and you will see what a fantastic job the promotion have done, and continue to do..
  2. Have to say i agree, and thats been clear for everyone to see.
  3. Yes the result wasnt a surprise, but the scores of Kents reserves were, seems Kent and Cradley have swapped Team building ideas this season, and i know which i prefer, well done to Thomas and Verge..
  4. I guess the Bournemouth Air Show people would dispute that Richard, by the way its on this week But besides that, there are many young people now in and around Bournemouth, which was not how it was perceived a few years ago, Then there is the Premier League football Team, and not so far away there is i think a Team which describes itself as a speedway Team; Poole
  5. Im afraid our season was lost during the close season with the where will we ride saga, which was compounded by the sale then not for sale, by the time we knew what was what, all the best reserves had been snapped up..
  6. Well done to the Brummies a well deserved win, they dont have a weak link in the Team, and tonight was no exception, it doesnt matter who gets to the Play Offs they are going to struggle against this Brummie Team very impressed with Tom Bacon he has made great strides this season, as for my Cradley Team Max and Ash rode well, as for the rest ?, well the Brum reserves scored more than than rr and the other four added together, Im afraid Top heavy Teams rarely win anything..
  7. I know Tyler Govier suffered concussion last week against Cradley so has to be stood down for the mandatory number of days, as for Piper Iv no idea.
  8. The Ferry and Taxi information is here mate, under Travel on the website.. http://www.wightwarriors.co/travel
  9. Rather than use an unattached 3 pointer, i would name the injured BDJ in the Team, and use rr to cover him.. but as for not being able to use a guest its laughable.
  10. Dont let GI anywhere near Torquay United, else they might be the end of you.
  11. It would have been much fairer for Mildenhall to have been deducted 3 points, ordered the meeting to be rerun with admission at half price.
  12. Thats what i thought, i had been thinking having Matt Williamson for Luke may have made a difference of a point or two, as for the idea of bringing in a No8 for a 9+ rider when we are already using rr, surely a Team needs to be competitive. Slightly of Topic, on Monday both Cradley and Buxton were using Guest riders both Teams had riders of similar ability out, that was an ideal chance to use No8s but neither Team did that..
  13. Im sorry but this simply does not stand up, look at the record over the years. I take it your Team is in it NOT to win it ?.
  14. I was going to comment, but having read this i will refrain clearly the guy is going through a tough time.
  15. Well dont they have every right to be ?. My take on all of the goings on today is that Speedway once again shoots itself in the foot, is it on or off ? The Mildenhall Team Manager was saying it was off at around 9-30ish, but his assistant and PO was saying at 11-00ish that it was on, whatever the reasons are its done no good for the Sport in general, and shows why its losing fans year in year out and seems utterly incapable of doing anything to stop it.
  16. I fully agree with this post. I commend the opening post on his time and effort, and also other contributors to the post, getting a new audience is the single most important thing that has to be adressed.
  17. Well if Adam is unfit, i think Ben Morley or Robert Branford would be an ideal guest.
  18. We are struggling in both departments, we can all see the Team has been built wrongly, but after the For sale not for sale fiasco, added to the are we at Perry Barr or are we at Monmore green, we were left with very little choice in the way of Team building, all the better reserves had been signed up, most of the middle order riders had been signed up, so Options were severely limited, and most of this stems from those goings on.
  19. They have made there choice, and had to be seen to be doing something, however in my opinion they have chosen wrong, i like to see a rider giving 100% for four laps.
  20. And at Eastbourne, it does my head in when he just toddles around at the back, he needs to remember a "race" is for for 4 Laps, and when he does this he gets so far back, that if an inexperienced youngster in front makes a mistake he is then to far back to capitalise.... Its a no Brainer.
  21. I wasnt there so i cant comment, but the usual away following is around 50 for the long distance Tracks, i was at eastbourne and thats how many were there, which isnt bad all things considered, we dont all have Cradley Scarves, Jackets, etc etc. To travel to Kings Lynn midweek, when the weather at the home end was attrocious isnt easy, and as 1984 said we currently dont have much to shout about, well done to those that made the trip..
  22. So in your Opinion according to the current rules Spiller can still ride Nl, so could Kurtis Hammill ride NL, if someone wanted him, and he wanted to ride here ?.
  23. Just been looking at the Under 21 results, and notice that Daniel Spiller rode for Germany, does that mean that he is now inelegible to ride NL ?. I ask because during the close season I suggested on Fb that Cradley try to sign Kurtis Hammill (born in the UK) the reply was that to do that Kurtis would have to declare he would ride for GB in the future. I was at Eastbourne last Saturday, and some of there fans were expecting Spiller to ride for Eastbourne later in the season, just as he did last year, so seeing as Spiller rode for Germany today, if the same rule applies that applies to Kurtis Hammill applies to Spiller then surely he is now inelegible for NL racing. Yes i do know you can have two Licences same as Robert Lambert had/has.
