Just heard (through the list 'speedwaybikes') that USA will not be in round 2 of the SWC in Outrup :-( - The team from Italy will replace them.

I watched the GP on Danish Television, and obviously didn't hear the comments from Sam & Havvy - But i must say i am not surprised to hear that Havvy made a comment like, "Up to his tricks again", about Nicki. He did ride hard tonight, and maybe not as smooth as the earlier GP's, but he's a fighter, and he want's to win. I don't think he did anything dirty in any way - Havvy obviously can't let go of the past and give Nicki a break. Some people are like that. It's a shame, but you can't change people's minds, if they don't want to be changed... I'm sorry for Havvy because he stuck in the past.. But really happy for Nicki because of yet another podium place... Well Done Nicki

I know there's pride in appearing for your country, but if Billy can't afford to be in the GP, then he might have the same problem in the SWC? I have no idea if that's the reason, it was just a guess.. I'm confused :? about it all - I also thought the americans were top of the list when it came to patriotism - I wonder what it's all about! I was looking forward to a whole week of exiting races and to see Billy beat some of the best...now i'm 'a little' dissapointed and very surprised :-o - I hope everything works out in the end (I'm trying to stay optimistic).

But if the riders don't get anything for riding for their country, then i can't blame them for dropping the SWC...

I totally agree Maggie. Nicki have changed his attitude this year, he seems much more together, more calm and focused in the races.. He just keeps getting better and better. Makes me proud to be danish

I have just tried to call e-billetter.dk to hear if the tickets are on sale friday and saturday at the stadium, but i got the answering machine :roll: At www.parken.dk i found the following message: Tickets bought from customers abroad after June 20 th. will not be send but handed out on June 28 from stall no 1 in PARKEN. So i don't know if it's possible to buy tickets from the stadium on saturday, but i think so... It would be pretty stupid if that's not the case - The ordered tickets can be picked up from 12 on saturday. I know it didn't answer your :?: but i hope it helped a little

Joanne: Parken is not very far from the centre of Copenhagen, so i think the easiest way for you to get there, would be by taking the bus from Radhuspladsen. Or maybe a taxi...shoudn't be too expensive..

Unfortunately the practice will be closed to the public :x But if the weather is good i can reccomend a trip to Nyhavn, there's a lot to look at, and lots of cold beer

Gredon: You're welcome, hope you have a good trip to Denmark Shalewhale: It costs 60 kroner (5-6 £) to get in at Slangerup - The stadium is not super modern, but the track is usually good, and we always have some good meetings there.

Hi GREDON. I have checked the trains from Copenhagen to Slangerup. Depending how early you want to get there (meeting starts at 2 pm) i got a few different options for you. Copenhagen (train station) June 29th to Frederikssund: Departs at 11.08 and arrives in Frederikssund at 11.52 Departs at 11.28 and arrives in Frederikssund at 12.12 Departs at 12.02 and arrives in Frederikssund at 12.52 Departs at 12.22 and arrives in Frederikssund at 13.12 Frederikssund is pretty close to Slangerup, and there's usually a bus going to the track, but because it's a sunday theres no bus (typically) :-( ...So the easies way for you to get there, will be to take a cap the rest of the way, it's not too far, so it shouldn't be too expensive. Hi All.. 8) Just thought i'll inform you that there's a Danish Speedway League meeting in Slangerup the day after the Danish Grand Prix at Parken. Brovst are the visitors, and it looks to be a close meeting.. So why not round off the trip to Denmark by going to the meeting?! I hope to see some of you there ~ The meeting starts at 2 o'clock. If anyone is interested in knowing how to get to Slangerup from Copenhagen, just let me know, and i'll give you directions. Cheers Hanne
