  5. All, Just a quick update, Adam was released from Macclesfield Hospital today and is now back at home nursing his headache. He is feeling a little brighter however, on doctors orders, will be a little time before he can ride whilst the internal bruising goes down. This however has definatley not stopped his mouth working and has not shut him up about wanting to get back on the bike!!!! Thankyou for all your good wishes and will see you all around and about shortly Martin
  6. Hi, Just an update from my message this morning, Adam was taken for a CT scan this morning after waking up a little confused. He has some intenal bruising so they are keeping him in for a bit longer for observation. Martin
  7. The doctors monitored adam all night and he seems ok, just a big headache.... all being well he will be released this morning. Martin
  8. Having a 350cc as a pose to a 500cc does not necessarily work better. The 350 cc engine does not have as much power so when you come into a corner, the 500cc will turn easier. The 350cc will tend to drive more, and in doing this will try to straighten up, so it then makes them more dangerous to ride really. Basically, although they have more power, the 500cc has the advantage of having a little added power which can get you out of trouble - It just comes down to the throttle control of the rider. And I am not just telling you the theory, I actually ride both 350cc and 500cc JAWAs (not that the make of the engine means any different) week in week out throughout the season.
  9. Unfortunatly Adam has broken his left arm riding at stoke on saturday night. He had to lay the bike down going into the 1st turn and as he hit the fence the bike hit his arm... he has broken his left radius about an inch from the wrist Adam is ok, obviously gutted he cant ride, and is in plaster up to just above the elbow for 6 weeks!!! he hopes to be back on the seat asap... Well done to all the U15 lads at scunthorpe on sunday...heard u all put a good performance on...gutted we missed it.... regards Martin (Adams older and wiser(!?!) brother)
