I think that it's more to do with the fact that he picked up a cheap gold medal for BV last year and planned on doing the same thing for Sheffield this year. It's like it was going to become a tradition for him to slot in with the favourites for the semis and the final. What Del boy would call a 'nice little earner'.

let's hope that the 2nd leg has some life in it only 2 heats worth watching Can't really understand there is no genuine desire to make something 'electric' happen to spark the meeting into life.

It's an amazingly lifeless meeting, across the board, for a grand final.

I won't happen, if it was going to do it would have happened long ago The sport will shrink to the point that it will take place in Poland only and they will win everything every year as they have done this year. Dullest Grand Prix that I have seen this year. Half of the heats had riders in making up the numbers, therefore no interest in the outcome of the heats The only fortunate thing was watching it on catch up that cut out 2 hours of 'nothing to see here' It's a one man GP series might as well give it Zmarzlik now and call it a do.

I wonder how a new British supporter, who saw this, would react if they went to a run of the mill British speedway meeting demanding more of the same?

Does anyone know what time it starts on Eurosport Speedway star says 5-30pm and Eurosport itself says 6-45 pm (our time)

An interesting thing, from the few races I did watch, was that Tatum gave me the impression that he would have been 'over the moon' if the Aussies had have won every race. Seems to me that these things are more important than providing something worth watching and was one of the main reasons I turned it off. You get the feeling that what the supporters want is firmly at the bottom of the 'to do' list.

Tried to watch it but gave up after 8 heats. Very disappointing after the Denmark/Australia meeting (the other 2 teams might as well not be there) Obvious the Polish supporters knew there was no point in wasting their money on these meetings

Totally agree, that's the reason I am glad I don't spend money going to the speedway. It was set in stone that Doyle would be excluded.
