  1. Was enjoying it till the Swede got excluded after that lost interest in it when it was 'given' to Poland Wonder if it will be the same tomorrow ??
  2. Kelv thrilled that it's 'great news for Poland that Flint beats Rew
  3. I always get the impression that if Poland's not winning Kelvin is not happy at all You can hear the upset in Kelvin's voice that Denmark had the nerve to take points off Poland But they are still in the driving seat (thankfully)
  4. I always get the impression that if Poland's not winning Kelvin is not happy at all
  5. He's gain on 40 Freddie and he's showing the pretenders what to do and how to do it God how I miss Nikki P
  6. Dear old loveable Freddie, only person that's made it worth watching So good I said it twice
  7. Dear old loveable Freddie, only person that's made it worth watching
  8. It's true it's all a matter of opinion but decreasing interest in speedway proceeds as we all know
  9. You are right he is the best (doesn't say a lot for the rest) and you can't knock the man for his winning ways. My problem is, is that sport is a competitive thing and if there is no competition then it becomes a pointless exercise. The result is that there comes the point where you lose interest and turn it off. An example. I was watching the Germany/Scotland game last night. When G went 2 up, I thought 'that's that' and turned it off I'm not going to waste time watching a walkover The result was I ended up watching the Spg 2 2023 - whatever they call it - the under 16'a - on you tube far more entertaining In other words turning my back on the one thing introduced me to the other thing And that's the problem with non competitive sport - you lose interest All the above is my opinion the way I have always seen sport I just want it to be competitive and may the best person win
  10. Problem is he doesn't have any real opposition therefore it all being boringly predictable
  11. No point in watching anymore GP's now, it's all over as it was always going to be
  12. Dear old Ove (or whatever she called him). What he was really saying is 'what a bunch of pansies, we'd have been half way through the meeting by now. Ding Dong ( he must be a Leslie Phillips fan)
  13. Not consistent enough. Hit and miss. Seems to me that he's satisfied with that. Time will tell.
  14. I think that people have not yet realised that deep down Bewley's not really interested in progressing in the GP's and therefore not interested in being world champion.
  15. 20 heats gone by like lightening and hardly any of them held my attention after the first lap
  16. Funny how the main topic of conversation is the sync situation. You might think that people have got that syncing feeling
  17. You're right it's almost as if 'everyone knows their place' zmarlik is number one and we all follow on in his train, in other words 'after you' = tedious meetings
  18. Might sound odd but I think that's the organisers plan to have a serial world champion like schumacher, hamilton and verspatten. Seems like a good idea at the time but the more championships zmarlik wins I believe the interest in watching will decline exponentially as they say. They used to hold these meetings in large stadiums, seems like the smaller they are the more packed they are = a sell out crowd
  19. Bit tedious so far looks like a one horse race tonight
  20. Yep, when I read that I thought it might not be worth bothering, but I thought I would give it a whirl anyway. Up to now best GP I have seen in ages I wonder if Michelsen swapped his bike with Wozniak's when he wasn't looking!!!
  21. Meeting seems a tad lifeless to me, finding it hard to engage with it all
  22. I thought it was the best article that I have ever read on a topic of this nature. It really drew you into the ordeal that a rider goes through, so much so the reader is 'suffering along with the rider'.
  23. True it's not the same without his charismatic presence to entertain the masses
