  1. Totally different. The jab was always an option, drug testing isn't!
  2. Obviously posting on here is like preaching to the converted...but lets be honest the sport in general in terms of actual racing/passing has gone down hill rapidly.. Classic examples are the Speedway GP's, meant to be the highlight of all the top riders performing to a worldwide audience, ye the tracks are in general abysmal, packed and packed so that they resemble a road surface, yet the outcome is a boring track, give them something to race on, not just one line where if you dare to look for grip on the outside you are punished.
  3. failing to take a drugs test is as bad as failing one, end of.
  4. it seems nowadays tracks are prepared to be smooth, virtually no grip, lack of shale etc...speedway is in the entertainment business and guess what all those ingredients for todays tracks do not give entertainment. Lets look at Saturdays Swedish GP, the only real highlights were the crashes. There will be those that disagree but todays tracks are basically made for the start tarts in the sport,
  5. Jack Holder over 9 is the bet for me tonight.
  6. if some think it is Terry Russell's fault/doing, if there were others willing to put their money in and save the stadium/speedway where are they?
  7. was so good to see a Brit looking the best on show last night, Lambert was pure entertainment.
  8. would be interested to know when people are saying they limped on, exactly how much they had on!
  9. i'm guessing a few of you backed Holder to score less than 8 then!
  10. you are correct on both counts.
  11. rumours are rife in the greyhound world regarding Swindon Stadium, date being banded about that it is to close 26th December this year. Hope this isn't true.
  12. an absolute fiasco in what is meant to be the pinnacle of British league speedway.
  13. The banned list is there for all riders to see, if you use anything on that said list you are then cheating. I wouldn't want to be racing against someone who is using something on the said banned list I wonder just how many riders are tested over the course of a season or career, you'd like to think all riders are tested at least once a season!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Thanks everyone...so it looks like i have to pay for it, which is fair enough just didn't think i would have to!
  15. Thank you for this, do you happen to know how much the subscription is and is it then available to watch on Sky Q....sorry for the questions etc - not as young as i once was
  16. Hi, apologies if this has been discussed on here or elsewhere on the forum...I have just found out that i receive Discovery+ via my Sky Q vip package, great so i signed up etc yet when i look around on the screen i cant find the Sport section, am i being thick or is it a case that i actually need to subscribe/pay for that part?...only want it for the speedway. Many thanks in advance.
  17. Some really positive news about greyhound racing returning to both venues.
  18. very positive news in the greyhound world that greyhound racing is to return to Oxford.
  19. there didn't look a lot of love between Freddie,Tai and Bartosz on the rostrum on Saturday, is there history between them?
  20. how much would it of cost to "pay on the gate" so why not charge that price, most people would still be making a decent saving by paying that price for streaming the event...say a family of 3 would of gone, that saves roughly £60-£100 for that one family.
